The hotel has a private parking they call VIP, but you have to send your license plate in advance and call by phone once you arrive, to have the gate open. The building looks antique but the rooms are modern. Our room was spacious and the bed a real king size. Towels are small, but there are also bathrobes. Whoever designed the bathroom made a huge mistake, because it’s impossible to sit in the toilet without leaning forward or towards the tub. It´s too close to the sink!

Lovely hotel conveniently located
Lovely hotel about 5mins to a shopping centre and just a bit further to the main shopping area which has the train station at the end of the street. The double room we had was very clean which was serviced every day and the bathroom had a hairdryer. There was also slippers and bathrobe. There is a kettle and bottled water in the room but there was only 2 tea bags (Herbal & Green Teas) and sugar. If you want other types of tea and Coffee and/or milk, I would advise you take your own. There is a fridge filled with all sorts which you have to pay for but it would be ok to keep your milk in. Breakfast has plenty of choice both hot and cold and there is a hot drinks machine to serve yourself. I would certainly stay there again if I were to visit Zilina.

My room at this “ Boutique” hotel was a HUGE disappointment. More Motel 8 than boutique with no extras you would expect. So dirty and worn with an overpowering floral chemical smell that burned my eyes. I ended up sleeping with the window cracked in 19* temperatures. Desk staff was nice and offered to switch to the room next door however, it had the same issues. I would never recommend this tired worn out hotel to anyone. It is also in a sketchy area that time has not been kind to!
