Yama Wine Spa and Suites

I took my wife away for 2 nights for her birthday. We had such a great time. Our host, Amit, was waiting for us to assist with bags and escort us to our room. We were not disappointed. The room was very clean, spacious and the moment you enter, you can feel the effort they invested in making this place cozy and comfortable with a modern feel. Not all Tzimmers are the same and Yama is a place we'd return to. Oh, and how can you not love the view over the Mediterranean? Great service, a great place and is very reasonably priced - especially if you can get away Mid-week. Two things you should know -1) this place is not accessible for people with mobility issues (stairs). 2) it is not Kosher (for those concerned), if you were looking for the breakfast part of the B&B experience. Good thing is - there is no shortage of kosher food in Zichron Yaakov or nearby areas. Yama was so good we're discussing how our businesses can work together in the future. Despite the aforementioned negative points, I will still be offering Yama to my clients and friends. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived the owners greeted us like family, helped with our luggage and escorted to the Gefen Suite. As we came to the suite, my wife and I both said, "WOW!" The suite has a kitchenette, salon with huge flat screen tv. The bedroom has the most amazing king size bed that I promise I wanted to try to steal and take home with me. The bathroom includes a delightful shower with a picturesque view (more about that coming up). The suite faces Due West overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a porch that runs the entire length of the suite with two doors accessing it. One from the bedroom and one from the salon. It is important to note that this suite is 100% completely private. No one can see you unless looking via telescope from out at sea. Now back to the shower. No need whatsoever to feel exposed whilst bathing. You are all by yourself (and/or partner). Facing the sea, on the left side of the porch, is the piece d' resistance. A Jacuzzi and hammock that simply melt away whatever stresses you brought with you. If that isn't enough, the in-suite couple's massage room looks to be well worth the extra cost. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to enjoy that but rest assured, we WILL be back to enjoy all that is offered for our next visit. The Saturday morning breakfast that is made right upstairs was a delight as well. Reserve in advance. There are only two suites at this place and they stay booked. Oh yes, no kids. This is for couples who need some private getaway time. Lastly, there was one thing we hated about the whole weekend there. That was, that we had to leave to come home!
