When I came to Zihuatanejo, I did not realize why they seemed to kindly take me in in the middle of the night, but they charged me a lot for being a Hotel needing major renovations. The noise from construction has been nearly unbearable at times and it has gone on for over a month. The owner works his construction guys too hard and long in the extreme heat Mexico has been suffering AND NOW the interior sewage system has now been breached. God only knows where the actual sewage IS, but the SMELL IN MY ROOM IS UNBELIEVABLE. My opinion is that the hotel should have been completely torn down and rebuilt this hotel from the bottom up. My opinion is also that this owner is paying a karma debt for lewdly leering at me as I try to play NYTimes puzzles quietly in the lobby and overworking the construction men.
