Wanshan Island appeared in the second season of ”A Bite of China”. It is a small island in the west of Zhuhai. I came here because of its reputation. There are not many flights to the island. Currently, there are only three flights a day from Xiangzhou Port, but I think this is also the reason why I want to come to Wanshan Island, a feeling of ”hiding in the city”. You can't go wrong seeing the ”Roland and Chateau” Hotel, the best hotel + the most beautiful scenery + the best food. The hotel is located on the hillside of Da Wanshan Island, built on the mountain, with a staggered layout, a unique courtyard, and the entire hotel overlooks Wanshan Port, facing the west, and the sunset is particularly beautiful at night. I stayed in a sea view room with two large floor-to-ceiling glass doors and a small ”L”-shaped balcony. The room is bright and warm, and the sea view is refreshing. The best thing is that the bathroom has a sea view. The hotel's hardware facilities are very good. The ”Roland and Chateau” Hotel has strict standards. Although it is a hotel on a small island, there is no need to worry about hygiene, air conditioning, hot water, etc., which makes people feel at ease. It is the off-season for the hotel now, so not many people are staying. The hotel is quite large and beautifully designed. It can be said that there is a view at every step, which is truly ”facing the sea, with flowers blooming in spring”. There are also suites with front yards. It must be very comfortable to stay with children and family for a few days. I ordered the hotel's set meal for 2 people, which tasted very good, especially the seafood seaweed soup, which was made with fresh fish from Wanshan Island. It has both island flavor and high-end restaurant products. The hotel is a one-to-one service with a butler system. You can ask the hotel to send a car to the town at the foot of the mountain to go shopping at any time, or go to other places on the island. It is 24-hour service. During our stay, the butler Mai Yanming was considerate and attentive, and responded quickly. From confirming the itinerary after booking to introducing hotel activities and catering after check-in, to the final departure, she has always been meticulous and very helpful. Thank her again! It's a pity that I didn't go into the water to experience the hotel's swimming pool by the mountain and the sea when it was cold. It must be more beautiful in summer.

民宿是新裝修的，下船一眼可以看到，老闆很好人，車接車送，我住的推開窗，就可以看到海。床夠大，床墊不錯，有投影，樓下就是知名海鮮吃飯的地方培記，靠着海，吹着海風吃飯，爽歪歪。萬山島人不多，清靜，騎單車去海灘，不會人迫人。

The location is good, downstairs is the supermarket and place to eat, close to the pier, located in the middle of the entire business district. It is the off-season, there are not many people, and it is not very noisy to sleep at night (there is decoration near the hotel, there will be some noise during the day, but it is acceptable, and it is not for the hotel to sleep during the day). 2. The internal accommodation conditions are normal, nothing to be picky, clean and tidy. 3. The boss and his wife are very good and enthusiastic. They will help recommend attractions, help to see the route, tell the place to eat and even what is delicious. It is not that hard push, or you feel good. You ask them, they will recommend themselves to go often, maybe not necessarily suitable for everyone's taste, But true and sincere. OS, I saw the fruit of the proprietress and I was very happy to share it with us 🎉

The school dormitories are so rubbish and have a prison style. They are more comfortable than he lives in. You can hear people talking outside in the toilet. It is also soundproofed by transparent glass. I have never stayed in a hotel where you have to pay a deposit. The TV is made into a ppt. You can’t even press the button to blow the air. There is no difference between the wind blowing from the tube and someone blowing it with your mouth. The laundry room is useless. The clerk's service attitude is terrible and there is no service. It's very uncomfortable to sleep on the mattress. It's very uncomfortable to sit on it and be pushed up by the springs. It's just a pile of springs wrapped in cloth. Huaqiangbei Hamanka The sound quality is poor and the sound insulation is not improved. I ask customers to wear earplugs to sleep. The reason for giving five stars is to show you.

We LOVED this fresh and beautiful hotel in Zhuhai! It was just a 2 minutes walk from the seaside, and about a 10 minutes walk from a large shopping area with restaurants. The museum, Opera House, and Macao Port were all within 10-15 minutes by cab. The hotel itself was very clean. Our room was modern feeling with a kitchenette, and a large shower in the bathroom. The room got so much light throughout the day, which made it especially lovely and welcoming. The room service ladies were especially friendly, and would greet us in the hall each day. The breakfast buffet was also quite plentiful, and as the breakfast area was quite cozy, we would spend the whole morning there enjoying coffee and the sunshine coming through the windows. Overall, we would gladly stay again, especially with such a fair price! Thank you to all of the staff.

The room was quite clean, but the receptionist was not very nice on the first night and forgot to give us breakfast coupons. The next morning we were replaced by a young guy named Yao who was very nice and helped us find out how to get to the train station. It was very nearby. Convenient, very close to the beach. I specifically searched for one close to the beach. But the weather was bad and I didn’t get to play in the sand.
