The place is clean and bed is big! Decent hotel for the price. Near gongbei port too

This hotel is located in China part and not in Macau as suggested in google! It was very difficult to find the hotel and needed to do immigration 2 daily. Service was not good: checkin too a long time, receptionists could not speak English, cleaners entered in the room despite no disturb sign was at the door! 

The botel location is excellent m service is good. Amenities is average. There are many shopping and restaurants nearby. Walking distance to Gongbei Port.

So so, accessible to food and walking distance to the port to go Macau.

The location is great, 5 minutes away from Macao border. There are a market and lots of restaurants around.

Is a very comfort place to stay, room is big and service is good.

The facility is great, and nearby are many great seafood restaurants (3-4 star plus facility). However, the smoking smell is quite heavy in my room when opening the air conditioner.

Hua Xin Hotel has a very good location. It is very near to Gong Bei Port Shopping. Outside the hotel, there are restaurants. Nearby, the hotel got a very good SPA for Massage (Nature Massag & SPA Center) and at a cheap price. If you consider crossing over to Macau, the border is just walking distance, and there is free bus service to Venetian Shopping and Casino. Busses to other casinos are also available.

Friendly staff with excellent service, nice location

Check in staff was polite. Asked for non smoking room but was shown a room that smelled like a smokehouse, this was after the reception asked the housekeeping to do immediate smoke sanitizer. Requested to change room but was shown another room that was smaller and smelling of smoke. Asked the housekeeping to leave us a bottle of sanitizer and we sprayed the whole room and went out. Returned few hours later but still smelled of smoke, obviously can never get rid of the smell because the smoke smell is already infused into the curtains, bed, blankets and the pillows. If anyone is not tolerant of the smoking smell please don’t consider this hotel. Even the inside of the lift smell bad because they don’t care a damn and still smoke while taking the lift. I don’t think they have any non smoking floors as we can see they supply ash trays in the rooms. They are allowed to smoke everywhere in the hotel, no restrictions. Room is old furnishings but bedsheets and pillow cases are clean. Shower pressure and hot water is good. Amenities are basic but sufficient. Sound insulation is ok and no street noise. Except for the early noise from the nearby construction going on across the road. No fault of the hotel. Location is strategic, walking distance from the Gongbei port if you coming and going to Macau. Coming from Hong Kong by bus, you need to take a taxi to get here. No metro or bus services nearby. The inter state railway station is nearby about a 20 minute walk. 10 minutes walk to Gongbei Plaza and you will find lots of shopping and food. We did a day trip to Macau and walked all the way through immigration and customs inspection. Would recommend to travelers looking for just a place to sleep and explore during the day. Not a holiday staycation kind of hotel unless you are a smoker!!
