Ahn Luh Dongao Island Zhuhai

I stumbled across beautiful photos of the hotel on XHS. It just so happened they were having a grand opening, so I decided to check it out. Upon arrival at Dong'ao Island, a hotel shuttle will pick you up. Given the recent hot weather, they also provide guests with iced towels and barley water. The hotel's overall aesthetic is island-inspired with a Chinese aesthetic, reflected in the architecture, staff attire, lighting, and room toiletries. We stayed in a Shihua room, which was very comfortable for two adults and one child. The balcony overlooked the first-floor pool and the ocean view, offering a breathtaking view. Although there wasn't a children's playground, the kids still had a blast in the pool. The infinity pool, connected to the beach, is especially beautiful in the evening. You can also take the hotel's courtesy car to the open beach on Dong'ao Island (it was so hot, so we took a few photos and left). We had two meals at the restaurant on the basement level. My husband and I both raved that the food was even better than at restaurants outside! We recommend the #PorkChop and creamy pasta, as well as the freshly squeezed juice for breakfast. The complimentary afternoon tea pastries were made to order. It took a while, but the presentation was beautiful, and the pastry was super crispy! The staff were generally friendly. A special thank you to our butler, Timi, for his thoughtful service during our stay (he was available 24/7 to arrange our island tour and remind us to book our boat tickets). This is a place I'd definitely visit again. Also, remember to wear sunscreen if you're bringing your kids.

The moment I stepped into the hotel, my fatigue melted away with a genuine smile. The front desk team went beyond simply providing efficient check-in; they were the key to a wonderful start to my vacation experience. Whether it was expedited check-in/check-out, worry-free luggage handling, activity bookings, or thoughtful local guides, they always took care of everything, making everything seamless. The front desk team, especially Shane, was especially helpful, always on hand to assist you whenever and wherever you needed them. Thumbs up to the front desk team for their exceptional service! My experience with this hotel was quite good. The room offers a stunning ocean view. Opening the curtains in the morning instantly brightens my mood. The staff were also very helpful, especially Jarvis at the front desk. He was incredibly friendly and introduced me to many of the hotel's attractions and activities. The hotel also has an infinity pool, perfect for a swim and a view. After a tiring day, returning to the room and lying on the bed was incredibly relaxing. The only real shame was that I still couldn't book a tour around the island. Perhaps that's a bit of a regret for me to come back next time, hahahaha.

It's perfect for those who want to relax and unwind. The most enjoyable thing is to sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise over the mountains and the sea. The swimming pool is great. The breakfast is quite exquisite. It's different from other star-rated hotels. The service staff are very attentive (except for the hearing-blind woman in gray clothes who I met occasionally). Overall, I recommend you to stay for a few days if you love quiet relaxation and the sea.

It's very close to the beach and the kids love the beach.

東澳島安麓酒店很漂亮，隨處可見茂密的綠植與湛藍色的海，酒店很nice，升級了複式套房，景觀太美了，150平的房間大氣寬敞明亮，面對蔚藍色大海，陽台上還有一個私家泳池，美呆了。這次運氣非常好，傍晚看到絕美的世紀夕陽與火燒雲，火燒雲太壯觀和輝煌，從來沒見過這麼美這麼熱烈的雲，太太太太太太美了。酒店的麓中餐廳品質很好，肉餅蒸膏蟹很好吃；飯後去戲台觀看節目，酒店居然還有快板雜技和相聲，還有雞尾酒喝，非常不錯。這個酒店太棒了，服務人員又多又熱情，非常好，有點遺憾由於颱風第二天早上不得不早早退房，下次再來。
