Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Zhongshan

The superior double room at checked in was not good for a family of 3 beds were too small, refrigerator was missing and the door was very hard to push open. Reception immediately changed our room to a queen bed room which was what we have always had in all our Hampton stays everywhere. Great prompt service by the reception staff. The room space and cleanliness was excellent

I stayed at Zhongshan Hotel during a recent business trip and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The hotel is relatively new; but the room we booked on the non-smoking floor reeked of stale cigarette. We had to change room. There was an event of some sort and the only restaurant in the entire hotel was closed to other hotel residents. We had to walk to 15 minutes around some construction site to cross over to a small residential area to find food. There were a handful of restaurants. Some pretty run-down. I'd say the hotel is ok, but make sure you have your meals planned. The hotel is pretty far from everything. We picked it because it was close to a birding area.
