This is our first time to Zhenjiang. This hotel is within 10 minutes taxi ride from Zhenjiang railway station. On 27 Dec 2023, we arrived late at night and all the shops nearby the hotel have already closed. So, no dinner. The reception staff, Fang Rong and 张师傅, took good care of us by offering snacks and carried our luggage into the room. The hotel’s location and environment are fantastic! It is located at Xijindu ancient street where you can stroll along the ancient street. The museum and old British consulate are within walking distance from the hotel, through the ancient street, past a 观音 cave. Another tourist spot, Jinshan 金山 is also within 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel’s breakfast is delicious and good value for money. The hotel’s room is very clean, very comfortable and very nice. The hotel’s staff Steven is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Upon check out, we got a small trinket as souvenir. I had a pleasant stay and will definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you all for the outstanding service and warm hospitality during our stay.

I slept until 10am and thought I missed the hotel breakfast, so I called the front desk. I didn't expect that breakfast could be delivered to the room at 10:30! So thoughtful! The preparation was very attentive, please see the photo~ It was a really big bowl of noodles! Super rich! Better than eating out! The auntie who delivered the food was super nice, smiling and cute! Zhenjiang is my father's hometown. I once passed by on a business trip in the late 1990s. I remember that time I only visited Jinshan Temple. So this time I came to Zhenjiang after retirement. I read the Zhenjiang travel guide on Xiaohongshu, which recommended staying in hotels in the Xijindu area. So I searched on Ctrip and found that there were many hotels with good locations in Xijindu, and it was almost difficult to choose. After comprehensive consideration, I chose Shuxiang Xinbo Hotel. Among the hotels with a rating of 4.5 or above, I prefer the design style of the hotel, which is a combination of traditional and new designs. I was just worried that there would be no parking spaces for self-driving tours (the reviews said that there were few parking spaces at the door), so I contacted the hotel in advance to confirm the parking spaces. They said that there were still parking spaces at the door, and the hotel had another parking lot nearby, so there was no need to worry. Fortunately, we were able to park at the door for the two nights we stayed. Probably because of the off-season, I booked a double bed room, and the hotel upgraded it to a suite for free, with an elevator (the hotel was renovated from an old house in the Republic of China, and the building is about 4 or 5 floors high). The suite has a living room + cloakroom + standard king-size bed room. The space is relatively large and clean. The 2-meter-wide bed has good bedding, soft and comfortable, very nice. In addition to the standard toiletries, the bathroom is also equipped with a bathtub film. This is the only one we have seen in the multiple hotels we have stayed in since we drove all the way from Guangzhou. For this reason, this is also the only time we dare to take a bath in the bathtub in the hotel to relieve fatigue. The plastic slippers in the room need to be called to the front desk (this is the experience gained from this self-driving tour). The little robot will send the slippers up and will notify by phone. It is silent when walking and does not disturb people. It is very cute. Looking at the comments, there are criticisms about the electric control switch in the room. Sure enough, the design of the electric control switch is too alternative and niche, and the operation is not intuitive. You can only grope for the buttons. It feels that it is not suitable for hotel use, especially for the elderly. However, the switch is a small flaw and has little impact. Overall, the hotel experience is still very good and cost-effective.

It is just opposite the Zhenjiang Museum, with an excellent geographical location. It is a stone's throw away from the Xijindu Scenic Area and is very quiet. This hotel is built in an old house. It is a building complex from the Republic of China period. It has a history of more than 100 years. The entire hotel has only more than 20 rooms and is unique. The hotel itself is a very artistic place. I would like to emphasize that the service is very good, and basically it can meet all requests. It is one of the top three hotels in the country in terms of service. Anyway, it is unexpectedly good. The ladies are very gentle. Yeah. Two tickets to the Xijindu paid scenic spots were also given upon check-in. The bathtub is big enough, and those who like to take a bath will feel very comfortable (but the hotel does not have bath salts, which is very incredible). In particular, the breakfast is very delicious. Their breakfast is not the traditional buffet, but a breakfast for one person, with beef pot cover noodles, crystal braised pork, and one basket of steamed buns per person, the kind with crab roe buns, the remaining milk, soy milk, homemade yogurt, and various pickles, etc. You can take them at the buffet counter. Of course, you can add more if you are not full of staple food. There are beautiful Hanfu at the front desk, which can be used for taking photos. It's free and very clean. The hotel parking lot is at the back door of the hotel, very close to the hotel, very quiet and safe, and also free. Overall, it's a good choice to stay in Zhenjiang. (It should be noted that the wooden structure of the old building may make creaking sounds, which is not very friendly to people with shallow sleep and neurasthenia, but I have neurasthenia and feel okay. On the last day, I met a particularly unrefined guest who got up and screamed at 6 o'clock in the morning. He had no manners at all, which was very annoying.)

Not far from Jinshan Temple, the environment is quiet and hygienic, and the room is very comfortable. The pillows are also very comfortable and I slept very well! The front desk is warm and thoughtful, and a cup of warm water is given when checking in, with a smile. A good choice during the trip, I will stay here again next time!

The location of the hotel is relatively secluded, and the nearest merchant is a few hundred meters away, so there are a lot of takeaways. There is a Ruixing in the lobby. It is very convenient to have a coffee ice drink. I booked here because of the concert, and I sent a poster when I checked in. The arranged room is comfortable and clean and the location is really good, because the floor is high, you can see the inside of the stadium outside the window, and the view is excellent and there is no obstruction. I have watched the rehearsal of the concert several times from a distance. I don’t want to be spoiled, but I can’t copy it. Hahaha.

Honestly this is the best hotel I stay during my whole trip in China. Once I enter the lobby to check in they serve us with a tea. One of the lady also know how to speak some English which is good for foreigners. They don't really question us that much regarding our visa like any other hotel. The lobby is also spacious and very nice interior. The room I book for 3 people is so big too it can fit for 4 people. We were given the 8th floor so we get the view of the front of Nanshan. The laundry area is really nice, everything is there! The laundry detergent, the iron. And what I like the most is they have laundry services in which the aayi will help you do your laundry and even fold them for you! 🤗 In our room we also have a sofa which is great! I also ask for a late checkout but they don't have problem with it at all. After check out they gave us another bottle of water. Overall this is the best hotel I've had so far and will definitely stay here again when I came to Zhenjiang!😍 5 STAR!!

The bedding in the room was very comfortable and the service was very good. After we confirmed the order, the hotel took the initiative to call to ask about the approximate time of the store to open the air conditioner for us in advance. The location of the hotel is also close to the city, just next to the Mengxi campus of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, convenient travel!

Satisfaction is on the higher floor, facing south, sunny courtyard. At noon, the sun was full of beds, and the room was warm without the air conditioner. This kind of enthusiasm in the surrounding quietness is the most joyful, as if you can hear the sound of flowers...Compared with nearly two years ago, the room is two years old. There are also sanitary corners, only one point, I hope the warm and courteous housekeeping sister can be more detailed. But the overall flaws are not concealed. For example, I observed that the six porcelain cups, glasses, and coffee cups configured at the bar are all clean as new. Considering that not necessarily every guest will use them, some high-star hotel bar cups are not commonly used, but it can be seen that the cleanliness lacks clear and transparent luster. Bihuiyuan still starts from doing conference services and official reception, which is unambiguous. Dinner and breakfast were used at the hotel again. The standard of dining and service for dinner is as good as in the past. The corresponding breakfast is not satisfactory. I am afraid that it is also a reflection of the reception team. In addition, a middle-aged staff member on duty on New Year's Day in the hotel spa (forgot to know the name) was very humane. That day, we especially delayed the service time for our late bath for half an hour.
