I felt that the hotel not only retained the original historical architectural beauty, but also integrated modern decoration, plus high-end materials, which made us feel pleasantly surprised.
The key point is that the hotel owner is very enthusiastic and treats guests kindly and politely. He also personally took us to visit the three historical rooms of this hotel, as well as the back garden where the owner read in ancient times. The design style of the entire hotel shows that the hotel owner has put a lot of thought into it.

JJinxiudongfangshuoThe inn is not far from the entrance of Longmen Street, Huangyao. You can go directly to Huangyao Ancient Town through Longmen Street. Longmen Street is very quiet. It's a pity that it didn't get done due to the epidemic. The inn is very beautiful and there are books everywhere. You can take pictures whenever you shoot. You can read books, coffee, snacks, drink tea, etc. on the first floor. The guest area is above the stairs. The second floor is still a public area with a TV and a long table for small gatherings. The sound insulation effect is not bad. The butler service is very good, responsive, and made white porridge for us. The coffee is produced, latte is relatively stable, muffins are okay, pizza semi-finished products are not recommended, and hot coffee is recommended. The mountain view room I stayed in has a large viewing glass window and a row of sofas. It is very good. The room has heating and is not cold. The inn breakfast is very rich and can be refilled unlimitedly.

Sanitation: Very clean! We also upgraded to a room with a view. In the morning, we can see the beautiful scenery when we open the window. It's great!
Service: The boss is very good! We also gave them their specialty rice noodles and the fruit they picked, Wogan. I will definitely recommend it to my friends, especially sitting on the roof of his house to drink tea and enjoy the view. It is simply a paradise on earth.

GGuest UserIt is the closest place to the exit and parking lot in the scenic area. The Niu Ge Restaurant downstairs of the B&B is really delicious and economical. I like their rice rolls, porridge, and fried water chestnut noodles. I really want them. They make home-cooked rice noodles. The food is also very appetizing. I ate three meals a day at their home for two days in the ancient town.

GGuest UserWhen I first met the boss, he was kind and low-key, polite and elegant. The landlady also came back later in the evening. She was cheerful and full of energy. She was the absolute soul. Here, every visitor from afar can find a reason to relax. It could be the outdoor tea table, the elegant furnishings in the room, the guqin calligraphy, the beautiful scenery outside the window, the plants, trees, mountains and rocks here, or the warm feeling of being at home and being cared for by family members. Everywhere in the inn is carefully decorated, reflecting the owner's business philosophy and artistic temperament. You will encounter quaint creativity unexpectedly around the corner. Needless to say, it is clean and sanitary, and it is rare that every detail is taken into consideration. Huangyao Ancient Town has a history of thousands of years and has extremely superior natural scenery. Although the level of tourism development is uneven, no matter from which perspective, this B&B is definitely the best among the hundreds of B&Bs here. DDi TanThis charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons.
The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay.
All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience.
