An excellent experience! I booked through Trip.com a week in advance, and later noticed the price dropped on the app. I called customer service, and they helped me cancel and rebook at the lower price. Upon arrival, the front desk manager upgraded my room, and the view was fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. The indoor and outdoor hot springs truly added a lot of enjoyment to the trip. The room was equipped with a washing machine, dryer, a large refrigerator, and an induction cooker, so I could easily make instant noodles or even a hot pot. This provided great convenience and made me feel right at home. A truly delightful stay!

This hotel has very obvious pros and cons. Cons: 1. The mattress is extremely uncomfortable, even harder than the cheapest mattress at an Atour Hotel. Combined with the hotel's pillows, which are either too thin or too thick, lying on my back hurt my lower back, and lying on my side hurt my shoulders and neck. This is a major drawback. It felt like a mattress you'd find in a cheap rental. If you stay here, I recommend asking for an extra duvet to put under you as a makeshift mattress – it might help a little. 2. The soundproofing of the room door isn't very good; conversations in the hallway are very clearly audible in the room. 3. This was an incidental issue: the window handle was a bit faulty, so it didn't close tightly. The underfloor heating also seemed to have a problem; I woke up cold in the middle of the night on the first day. There wasn't even a spare blanket in the room. 4. The room is a bit dark. If you have children who need to do homework, it's best to bring your own desk lamp. 5. Hot water from the sink takes a very long time to come out. Pros: 1. The service attitude is excellent; they deliver requested items very promptly. 2. The room is very spacious, which made for a comfortable stay. 3. Although the hotel is a bit far from the cable car, the views are nice. 4. The restaurant on the 9th floor of the hotel serves decent food, making dining convenient.

The room was fully equipped, offering more amenities than a typical hotel at the same price point. It was clearly designed to Olympic standards. The breakfast buffet was very satisfying. The location is conveniently close to Taiwu Town and Taizicheng High-Speed ​​Railway Station. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I visit. Highly recommended.

A mixed bag, here's an objective review. First, the disappointments: I checked in on October 5th, during a busy holiday period. The five front desk staff members in Building D were completely overwhelmed. I've stayed in countless hotels, big and small, good and bad, but I've never seen check-ins take 5 to 10 minutes per person. That's not even counting the half-hour wait in line, with people arguing and unruly kids kicking things and causing damage – it was pure chaos. All I wanted was to get it over with and get to my room. When it was my turn, I observed the staff furiously typing on the computer, and it still took at least 5 minutes. This clearly indicates a cumbersome and complex internal system. After all that, they still made me scan a QR code and fill out a ton of information to get the afternoon tea included in my package, which suggests they're collaborating with some business to collect customer data. I gritted my teeth and endured it, just wanting to get upstairs and relax. The elevators were insufficient, so I waited ages again. When I finally reached my room, I exploded. *This* is a **luxury scenic view**? Scenic my ass! Facing northeast, about fifteen meters away, was a bare retaining wall with a railing? What kind of view is that? There was nothing there! So, I went back downstairs to argue for a room change. By this point, I was about to lose it. And, of course, I had to queue again. When it was my turn, I only said two sentences, not harsh words, but the front desk staff must have sensed my fury. They meekly processed the room change, only to have someone checking out cut in front of me. I waited another seven or eight minutes. Finally, I pressed her about what kind of room they had originally given me, and she apologized, saying the system indeed showed it as a 'luxury scenic room.' Hmm... the system made her look bad, but she didn't dare say it. The new room was just okay, but at least the balcony had a mountain view (as pictured). After closer inspection, I realized that only about 1/6 of the rooms in Building D actually have a genuine view of the western mountain face. This is another example of the hotel's unsightly practices; they seem to classify any room in Building D that's remotely close as a 'luxury scenic view.' It's truly disgusting. On the good side: All the service staff I encountered, including the front desk person I vented to earlier, were great. She even gave me hot spring vouchers, though I didn't use them. I also didn't go for the afternoon tea (which was in Building C). All I really wanted was a room I paid for that matched their advertising, but I still appreciate her kindness. The cleaning aunties, who were incredibly busy, the shuttle bus drivers, and the owner and service lady at the second-floor BBQ restaurant were all fantastic. Their service was impeccable; I won't go into details, but they made you feel like they genuinely didn't want you to be shortchanged, treating you well without being overly effusive, and speaking from the heart. This largely alleviated the dissatisfaction caused earlier. In summary, management needs to reflect. Stop sitting in the office conjuring up arbitrary, convoluted procedures that waste customer time and staff resources with useless formalism. Are you trying to pass a grad school exam? This was my first time staying in Chongli, and after comparing various options, I finally decided on the InterContinental. Let's start with the positives: 1. Avoiding the crowded streets and bustling areas of the town was a major priority for me. 2. The hotel is relatively new, its facilities are comprehensive, and the rooms are spacious. 3. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted good. There were fewer Western choices, but plenty of hot Chinese dishes. 4. The restrooms feature Washlets (bidets) – a huge bonus! 5. Free underground parking with EV charging stations. Now for the drawbacks: 1. Many TV channels in the room had no signal, especially the major satellite and international ones. 2. The shower water pressure was weak, possibly the lowest I've encountered in a hotel of this class. 3. Several design elements were quite counter-intuitive. For instance, the shower control was on a different wall from the showerhead. The restroom door, being a fire door, was extremely heavy; I felt a touch of claustrophobia just going in to use the toilet. Also, the shower door was labeled 'Push' but actually required pulling to open. 4. The entire hotel felt like a maze. Even upon checking out, I still hadn't quite figured out where the main entrance was or the exact orientation of my room. 5. The breakfast area's layout was also quite peculiar, with stations scattered rather randomly. Salads and fruits, for example, were tucked away in a tiny corner of the main dining hall, leading everyone who discovered them to exclaim, 'Oh, there's more food here!'

My first stay was absolutely amazing. The room was brand new, the service was excellent, and it's very close to Thaiwoo Town, with a daily shuttle bus and free transfers to the high-speed rail station. It's only a 5-minute drive away, so transportation is very convenient. We share a children's playground with the InterContinental Hotel, which has lots of activities for kids. There are also many rides behind the hotel, which was fantastic. Each room also comes with a complimentary travel photo shoot, including a set of clothes and five free retouched photos. It was a great experience, and the hotel interior looks great in photos.

If you locate a business hotel, then there is no yukata provided, no mini bar, the laundry room can only be used next door Double Dragon. And I went to see the laundry room next to Shuanglong. The washer and dryer were all 20 years ago, and they actually provided washing powder. 4. If locating a parent-child hotel, then Noda has a kitchen, no dishes, no knives, forks, chopsticks, no electric refrigerator, only an induction cooker and a steamer. 5. The wifi router is still 10 years ago model tplink, only 2.4g network, and can not cover the whole house. 6. Finally, people lying at the head of the bed can not turn off the lights, which is also a very strange setting

The hotel's location is good, but traffic started building up as soon as we got close. The main issue was that the traffic lights didn't have separate lanes for going straight and turning, which led to cars jostling for space and causing significant congestion. Once in the town, we couldn't find the underground parking, and the security guard at the entrance was completely unhelpful, giving us incorrect directions. The room had a dark color scheme and was very comfortable, and the front desk service was good. There was a loud speaker in the plaza in front of the building repeatedly playing the same song from morning till night, which was quite disruptive. The breakfast selection was very limited and just average. However, the complimentary hot spring access or movie tickets were a great bonus. Overall, a positive experience!

Great hotel to stay at for a ski getaway, location is perfect as the ski slopes are right behind it. Depending on your booking they offer a 20% discount with Thaiwoo Ski Resort where you’ll go to get all the ski equipments if you don’t have your own including ski suit. I bought a 3 day ski pass which costs 1173 RMB plus a deposit of 2200 RMB (immediately returned on the last day of skiing). The room is like an apartment, kitchen area with all the necessary amenities to cook except pots and utensils (bring your own if you plan to do that), living room, bathroom and bedroom plus a small balcony. Plus also a washing machine. Btw, to get to the hotel, there is a free shuttle bus from Taizicheng train station, just follow the signs for the bus and which one stops at A&B Hotel. Check the schedule for departure times as the go according to train arrival and departure times. The Taiwu town area has plenty of restaurants and shops and the ski slopes closes at 4:30 pm.

The deluxe king room was indeed in the main building. It was spacious, had a bathtub, and a small balcony, which I was quite satisfied with. However, the breakfast buffet at the all-day dining restaurant wasn't very diverse; there were no wontons, and the selection was limited. We also had dinner there, and while the menu wasn't extensive and prices weren't cheap, the quality was decent. I recommend the beef noodles and oat noodle rolls. The view from the terrace was lovely, offering a distant glimpse of the 'Snow Ruyi' ski jump. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for maintenance during our stay. The most disappointing aspect was the room cleaning speed. We checked in on a Saturday, and with the hotel fully booked, guests from the previous day should theoretically check out by noon, or 2 PM at the latest with a late checkout. Yet, when we tried to check in at 5 PM, a large number of rooms were still not cleaned. On a rainy day, with nowhere else to go but the front desk, we finally got into our room at 5:30 PM. The hotel did offer complimentary welcome fruit as compensation.
