Good location and beautiful hotel. We are a family of two adults and three kids( age between 9 to 13). Hotel charged us for three adults and two kids. Three nights we ended up paying 3000euro plus. Cost is pretty high and the most hurting point is that we only got to know this upon check out…

The hotel is fine but it claims to be 5 star. Even by European hotel standards, this falls well below that. At best it is a 3 star hotel. Decor is worn. We stayed in a ‘junior suite’ - the room was very tired and run down with low quality bedding. We had to sleep with the windows open because the heating/cooling system didn’t work properly. Service was stern and perfunctory. Very little to help or assist with room issues. No warmth or conversation. The spa is quite nice.

This was our first time to stay at this hotel and we had high expectations after reading the reviews. We were not disapointed. The hotel was perfect in every way. The staff were superb. You can't take top service for granted these days as I recently discovered but here in Salzburgerhof Zell am See, the staff were exceptional. Especially Joseph and Stella in the restuarant. I've never experienced such attention to detail and cheerful demenour in every task.

First time in Zell am See and first time at the Hotel Salzbergerhof. The hotel itself is charming, comfortable, welcoming and exceptionally well run. 5 star hotels have an expectation that few actually meet these days, but this hotel needs another star adding to reflect it correctly. Attention to detail and personal touches are everywhere - the staff are excellent, the right side of attentive and always smiling, happy to help. The food is fantastic - beautifully put together, super consistent and everyday something new. Really special. We would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly and congratulate the hotel team on the great customer experience they deliver so well.

A great hotel , right in the centre , 10 minutes walk from the ski station , although they have a shuttle service which operates morning and afternoon . Staff are super friendly and the faculties are great. The food is freshly cooked morning lunch and dinner , an amazing holiday

In dit uitstekende en luxueuze hotel is alles perfect georganiseerd en geregeld. Prima management dus met zeer attente medewerkers. Receptie, schoonmaaksters en in het restaurant (Tamara en Deyso) perfecte bediening. Allen verdienen een compliment. Kamers zijn uiterst comfortabel. Skieen : liften zijn op 6 minuten lopen. Bij Brundl sport online alle materiaal gereserveerd alsmede opslag ter plekke. Dus niet nodig met alle skispullen erheen te lopen of pendelbusje gebruiken. Prive skileraar Thomas Hagen is uiterst aardig en professioneel. Rechtstreeks te boeken via zijn website (google maar) Piste gebied is uitstekend Wij komen volgend jaar graag terug.

Beautiful traditional property with lots of facilities. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and all staff amazing. Food in the restaurant was a delight. We were a party of eight including a 7 and 10 year old and had a suite, family room and deluxe double room, all well equipped and spacious. We will definitely return
