We’ve just returned from a 7-day stay at Hotel Stadt Wien and had a wonderful time. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with spacious rooms and plenty of storage. The pool and spa facilities were excellent and a great way to relax. The food was fantastic every day, with a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. What really made our stay special was the staff, every member of the team was warm, friendly, and always happy to help. We felt very welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel!

Having become bored of all inclusive package holidays, and with kids who have outgrown kids club and mini discos, we wanted to try something a bit different with a hiking holiday in Austria. We absolutely loved our holiday and stay at Stadt Wein. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well kept, the food of fantastic quality, the staff the most attentive and friendly we’ve ever experienced and the pool and spa the perfect relaxation after a day in the mountains. There is SO much to do in the local area and the hotel staff will happily help you plan your day if you have any questions! I cannot recommend Zell am See and Stadt Wein enough! (Family of 4, kids aged 6yr and 13yr)

This was not my first time in Zell but my first in Stadt Wien. Its a fantastic hotel, very clean with big rooms and beautifully furnished. The staff are warm and friendly, the food is great with wide choice. You can take a packed lunch which really makes it a full board hotel. Its a great location, its about a 7 minute walk up from the town but its not an onerous incline and theres a bus stop outside the hotel. I picked the hotel as it was highly recommended but also because of the summer card..it gets you free cable cars, buses and trains and saves you a fortune.

This is simply the best hotel I have stayed in. From arrival to departure everything was perfect with the highest standards of food , service and facilities. It totally enhanced my holiday and all the staff should be congratulated.

Outstanding stay! The accommodation was exceptional — spotless and incredibly well maintained. The owners and staff were all friendly, welcoming, and clearly knowledgeable about the area. Service throughout was top-class. The food was absolutely lovely, freshly prepared, and clearly made with care. Bedroom and Spa area all perfectly clean and maintained. A particularly thoughtful touch was the option to pack a lunch from the breakfast buffet — paper bags were even provided, which made things so easy for our active days out. One thing to note: the brochure mentions a dress code for dinner. In reality, this didn’t need to be enforced, and most guests were dressed smart-casual. It created a relaxed but pleasant atmosphere, which I really appreciated. When booking, I was slightly hesitant about the idea of a formal dress code, especially for an outdoorsy holiday, so this was a welcome surprise. Overall, a wonderful experience — I’d absolutely recommend it. Hotel Stadt Wien — the management and staff delivered an exceptional experience they can truly be proud of.

A fantastic experience at the Hotel Stadt Wien. The friendliness of the staff, ambience and quality of the food were outstanding. The location was perfect in terms of the short walk to the lake and access to the ski lifts. The restaurant was really nice and the choice of food was exceptional. We particularly appreciated the warmth & friendliness of the reception staff. We were always greeted warmly even if we were just walking through.

Wondeful family style hotel in walking distance from city centre, with great amentities such as pool, own 'petting zoo' with possibility of feeding. Playground, swings, bikes for all ages, pool/sauna, great breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets and meals and the friendliest staff you've seen in a hotel for a long time. Loads of parking just outside, and even possible to purchase charging of electric car (slow charger, 380v, but the hotel has an adapter).

From the moment you walk in the door the staff, without exception, are friendly, professional, welcoming and good fun. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well-maintained. The food, service and presentation are first class. Unusually, you are invited to prepare a packed lunch at breakfast which is a welcome bonus if you’re going out for the day. The pool area is great for relaxing and unwinding at the end of a taxing day.
