Personnel very helpful , but placed in the Romantik hotel nearby - they work in cooperation. Clean and convenient to visit the site .very essential in terms of service but for a week end it offers a good price to quality ratio. Recommendable for short stay.

This hotel, along with its neighbor the Metzgerwird, is part of a group of interconnected hotels owned by the same family/company. The Fischerwird is an old hotel that has been updated with some hip new decor, and a trendy new English-ish name “Fish’Inn.” Although the rooms are nice enough, the lack of a person at the reception is a bit of an inconvenience when checking in. Eventually it becomes clear that the reception of the neighboring Metzgerwird Hotel has real people on deck, and it’s easier to simply go there to handle everything. Breakfast was pretty good except for one significant oversight — the teacups are disgustingly dirty and need to be replaced with new ones. You’d never see that at a smaller Austrian hotel where the owners are attentive to every detail.

Had a very good stay at this hotel, rooms are spacious and is ideally located in the town centre and near the gondola for skiing. The breakfast was excellent. The room had everything you needed with a decent size bathroom and was cleaned every morning. An ideal location if your going skiing.

Dit is een partner hotel van het Romantik hotel in het centrum van Zell am See. Beiden hotels zijn met een overdekte doorgang met elkaar verbonden. Wij konden gebruik maken van de parkeerlocatie van het Romantik hotel. Daar hebben wij ons ook aangemeld hetgeen wat persoonlijker is dan de self check-in in Fish'in (Ficherwirt). Ook konden wij zo direct de skipassen kopen aan de receptie. Wij hadden een kamer met balkon gevraagd. De kamer was goed met een ruim balkon en gesitueerd aan de zijde van het Romantik Hotel met uitzicht op een stuk van de piste. Bedden en algemene hygiene waren goed. Jammer dat er geen vloer verwarming in de koude badkamer was. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid maar de gebakken en scrambled eggs waren alle dagen koud. Het hotel ligt dus in het centrum en binnen een paar passen ben je bij goede restaurants zoals Traube en Yorribs. Wandelen naar de dichts bijzijnde lift (CityExpress) was een paar minuten. Als wij weer eens in Zell am See zijn hoort dit hotel zeer zeker tot een van de favorieten.

We are a family of 6 adults who have just stayed 5 nights for skiing and had 3 comfort rooms. The hotel is in a great central location with an easy walk to the City Express gondola. The rooms were large, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I have read the other reviews re the noise from the street and if that is a problem, I would suggest a back facing room. Also, once the balcony door was shut there was no noise. I am not sure what the hotel can do to stop the late night noisy party goers but in all other aspects, the staff were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. Anna was fantastic in looking after us on arrival and the breakfast room staff were great. Special mention to Monica. The breakfast food was fresh, healthy and lots of options. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Mooie ruime hotelkamer met fijne badkamer. Schoon en lekker bed. Elke dag dikke zachte schone handdoeken. Uitstekend ontbijt buffet met super vriendelijke gastvrouw. Op loopafstand naar gondel in het dorp (city express). Hotel zelf ligt midden in het schattige oude centrum van Zell am See. Dagje skiën in Saalbach Hinterglemm ook prima met de skibus te doen.

Ho prenotato la struttura sul sito dell'hotel e non attraverso piattaforme. L'homepage era abbastanza ingannevole, sembrava chiaro che nel prezzo finale fossero compresi sia la colazione che il parcheggio interno, invece, una volta ricevuta la conferma della prenotazione, ho capito che questi servizi sarebbero stati da aggiungere al momento del check-in. Considerando il prezzo di 220€ per una camera molto stretta per 4 persone, penso che la colazione avrebbero potuto anche includerla. L'hotel poi è un labirinto incredibile, sono di fatto due strutture collegate da una passerella sulla strada che li divide e per raggiungere la reception, ho girovagato per scale e corridoi per circa 20' . La parte dove abbiamo soggiornato è molto vecchia e le camere dimostrano tutti gli anni che hanno! Unica nota positiva la posizione centrale davvero invidiabile!

Waren für vier Tage hier. Das große Zimmer mit Balkon war perfekt. Es war sauber, mit allem ausgestattet und Personal freundlich, hilfsbereit. Gutes Frühstück. Inklusive war die Sommerkarte, ein Extra von Zell am See. Alle Seilbahnen, Eintritte und Schiffsfahrten, kostenfrei. Eine erhebliche Ersparnis!
