Tau never disappoints. The staff there brings us back over and over. The animals are a bonus! We love the insight and excitement the rangers bring to each drive. the inhouse staff serves with kindness, care and smiles. No need to consider any other lodge in Madikwe!

Riserva meravigliosa con un laghetto nel quale si abbeverano moltissimi animali che si possono ammirare anche solo dai terrazzini delle camere. Camere confortevoli, arredate con gusto e con tutte le comodità, anche piccola area privata per doccia all'aperto. Staff gentilissimo e molto disponibile, driver preparati e davvero bravi e attenti a soddisfare le nostre richieste riguardo agli animali da cercare. Cucina ottima e bella anche la cena tipica organizzata all'aperto, non avremmo potuto scegliere meglio, adesso capisco cosa vuol dire mal d'Africa, non vedo l'ora di tornare!

After watching the live feed at Tau for many months at home we finally visited for three nights. The game viewing from our room the family suite was incredible. We saw many elephants,zebras,wildebeest, impala,kudu,warthogs and many more animals right from our lodge. We enjoyed many hours sitting and watching the animals at the waterhole. The management team were excellent and everyone was so friendly. The food was wonderful and the chef made me gluten free food at every meal. Our ranger Herman was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had some incredible sightings and seen so many animals from the big 5, wild dogs,elephants,Impala, giraffe and many more. We saw a pride of lions and a cub on a hunt for wildebeest. Thanks to everyone at Tau for a wonderful stay

Tau Lodge is the place to go in South Africa. From your deck watching the animals come and go to the watering hole is so relaxing. I like how staff at the camp have so much respect for the animals, not overwhelming them with too many vehicles at one time. The rooms were perfect. Was not sure about the outdoor shower but really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, varied and plentiful. Really liked the “Bush Dinner” experience. Would highly recommend this lodge.
