Disappointing…
After a promising start (an early check-in on a Sunday)… I quickly found that the air conditioning in my room (208) was faulty, even dangerous, with water condensing within the unit and dripping heavily onto the floor below and very close to the TV.
Thank goodness I didn’t leave it switched on and leave the apartment for any length of time.
I contacted reception using the same WhatsApp channel they initially contacted me on to try and get it quickly resolved, but no comms were forthcoming aside from a ‘we’ll take a look’
Assuming it had been fixed later the following day, I tried it again and more water dripped onto the floor.
Unfortunately I had to use the two towels issued (should have been four) to dry the floor… and was later accused stealing the two towels they hadn’t issued me with!
Was this because I complained??
The bathroom basin plug was also totally defective (old, stuck and would not pop-up), as was the bath plug (far too small).
The apartment felt a little tired in places… and a little further from town/train station than I had realised (poor research on my part).
Parking was a highlight with plenty of good sized spaces!
Up until the point I was basically accused of stealing some very cheap white towels (that were missing on day 1, along with a bath mat), the stay was at best, adequate.
