"This hotel is quite nice, with a great environment. I stayed there a few times before it was renovated. One time, I booked a king-size bed with a video player, but when I got upstairs, I realized it was right next to the elevator. I called the front desk to ask if there were any rooms inside, and if I could change. They said the video players were all located in that area, and if I wanted a quieter room, I'd have to book a different room type. This time, I booked a city view room, and I told the front desk I wanted a quieter location, not near the elevator. I specifically asked for this when booking, and then I booked a city view room. But when I got upstairs, I found it was still next to the elevator entrance. I'm wondering if they misunderstood me. I told them I wanted a room inside, not near the elevator entrance, but they still gave me one near the entrance. I don't know what they were thinking."
