Comfort Inn & Suites Zanesville City Center

Very low budget, not kept up. I didn't even shower because the shower was disgusting! Dirty, dirty, dirty. I couldn't wait to leave. Would've tried to find a different place but had been on the road 11hours and just wanted to sleep. Would NOT recommend.

This is a modest hotel but comfortable. I want to give a big compliment to Angie the manager. I left my watch and I called several days later. The housekeeper found it and turned it in. We arrived on our way home to VA to pick it up. Angie was out, the front desk called her, and she rushed back to unlock her office and retrieve my watch. Over and above. Thank you all for your honesty and taking your time to come back so we could continue on our trip home.

THE STAFF WAS SWEET AND ATTENTIVE...

The housekeeper was amazing she made sure we had everything we got a sweet had trouble with the door but she came in helped us. The room was perfect front desk lady was absolutely no help in was sleeping but over all thank you head housekeeper sorry I didn't get her name.

i stayed at this hotel the weekend of April 21st 2023, I'm only writing this with hopes that someone who has major influences on the staff that work evenings would teach them hospitality is key in the hotel business.. We checked in and there was apparently a cable issue, I was trying to be very understanding BUT this old lady that was working the night shift was so rude to us, we asked for toilette paper and she said the owner didn't make his trip to the store, i was in shock she would even tell a guest staying there something like that. The floors was very dirty the lobby area had food all over the tables, the elevator was dirty. And again the cable was out. mind you this was in the evening after 11:30pm, i was afraid to even ask this lady for anything but we needed the toilette paper when i went down to request maybe a manager can bring some in and this woman was outside smoking and not only myself was waiting for assistance. i was so frustrated i went to the gas station and bought a roll to have. i asked her when will a manager be in because i would like to speak to him or her and I got we don't have a manager just the owner and he only comes in once a week. it was late and i just went to bed i figured i would just cut my losses for a good night stay. so i decided i was going to leave early i didn't want to stay at this hotel another night. THIS WOMAN WAS SLEEPING ON THE SOFA IN THE LOBBY. what if i was a burglar or something. Something needs to be done at this place.. i left and got a room at quality inn. it wasnt perfect there but i didnt have to put up with the old lady being rude.
