This was our favourite stay during our road trip through the Alentejo . It is a beautifully maintained old farmstead with great views , amazing sunsets, a lovely walk down to the towering cliff top pathway and lovely staff. We were lucky to be allocated a room in the main building which had its own small terrace with two sun beds opening onto the grassy area surrounding the lovely pool. The room was not huge but the bed was very comfortable with excellent quality linens and towels and a well appointed bathroom. After an easy 20 min walk to the cliff top we spent a lovely relaxing afternoon sitting by the pool. The dining room was very pleasant. The food was ok but probably not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. The breakfast however was fantastic. The staff particularly the receptionists were very friendly yet professional. We would have loved to stay longer.

Structure hôtelière de campagne de grande qualité, le domaine est au calme dans la nature avec de nombreux sentiers de randonnée. Notre chambre familiale avec terrasse était un vrai cocon décoré avec goût et avec une literie très confortable. Seul bémol, la terrasse manquait vraiment d'intimité car donnant sur un petit parking et l'entrée des chambres du personnel. Pas de vue sur le coucher de soleil pourtant magnifique mais possibilité d'en profiter à quelques mètres de la terrasse. Restaurant excellent, service aux petits soins et grande piscine chauffée. Petit déjeuner gargantuesque et excellent.

Restaurant außergewöhnlich gut, sehr schönes Landhotel. Hervorragende Küche zum Dinner, Reservierung empfohlen. Sowohl Fischgerichte als auch Fleisch vorzüglich. Es gibt eine Karte mit ausreichend Alternativen, auch vegetarische Optionen. Der Service ist sehr gut, das Restaurant ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht.

Starts well with a personal guided tour of the property. Amazing pool with lots of sunbeds. Moderate hike to cliffs on the ocean with stunning vista. Great for hikers and bikers, with bikes readily accommodated. Private patio with sun loungers. Heated floors in bathroom of decent sized rooms. Great breakfast. Dinner was very good, a little pricier than in town possibly, but expected in such a location. Grow their own herbs and vegetables. But really it is the staff and the clearly well maintained facilities that set it apart.

I wish we‘d had more than one night at this beautiful property. It was peaceful and relaxing. We had a lovely walk out to the coastal cliffs followed by a delicious dinner. The breakfast buffet was the best of our three week trip in Portugal.

I had a wonderful stay at Herdade do Touril. On a one day trip i Saturday over night only big I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place. To wake up to the sound of birds and of Violets the donkey was the cherry on top of the cake. Dinner and breakfast were tasty and plenty. The staff was friendly and very professional. A beautiful back at only a few minutes walk through a lovely, wild path Definitely a place to come back to.

We have spent an amazing week at Herdade do Touril, the quality of the infrastructure, the service and the location are great. The staff is always putting the customer at the center, trying everything to make our holidays an incredible experience, the buildings look like new, due to the constant renew and attention to details and the property is located in a beautiful area very close to incredible beaches, restaurantes and small towns. We will definitively be back next year and we recommend this place to everybody.
