I would put 10 stars if I could! 1. My experience stated with email communication with reception about the room. Not only the reception replies instantly even during late hours/ weekends, but also, they are the most patient team I have witnessed so far! I was asking for a room with a bath and a view and the balcony and I was changing the dates. Essentially, I got exactly the room that I wanted, so thank you! 2. On the pictures rooms looked a bit outdated, so I was kind of ready for it. However, our room was just perfect! Spacious bathroom, the most comfortable bed and pillows, also there was a good kettle and a fridge! Not to mention a smart TV! Carpets, furniture and blankets also were in a very good conditions! I was impressed! 3. Location- the hotel is right in the heart of Zakopane, so it is easy to get to the store, restaurants, etc. There is also a gorgeous park, which was perfect for us, as we came with our furry friend(another great advantage of the hotel) Skiing resorts are also very close (around 15 mins by car). 4. We had a package deal with breakfast and Christmas dinner- it was awesome. I loved it! Thank you Helios Zakopane for the Amazing Christmas Week!

Basic budget hotel but we have no complaints as we were only there really to sleep in. Staff spoke very good English and were always helpful. Breakfast was appetising and the room although needing a little TLC were comfortable and clean We were surprised that we had to ask for the room to be cleaned but again we weren’t spending enough time in it for it needing to be cleaned every day. There was no mirror in our room only in the bathroom which was a bit inconvenient There’s no hairdryers provided in the rooms but they are available from front desk if you ask. We did eat an evening meal there which was excellent The hotel is close to bus and rail station and town is just a short walk away Would we stay again? Probably as it was comfortable and clean enough for what we needed

Pour un hôtel 2 étoiles, il n’y a pas grand chose à redire. L’hôtel est très bien situé, à côté d’un grand parc et à proximité du centre ville, vous pouvez garer votre voiture sur le parking gratuit de l’hôtel et tout faire à pied. La chambre est grande car il y a aussi un coin avec un canapé. Seul hic selon moi : il n’y a pas de rideau occultant, on est donc réveillé tôt avec la lumière du jour. Également, si vous êtes dans les chambres 108/109/110, 208/209/210 ou 308/309/310, vous êtes en plein dans le passage des escaliers et il y a un coin salon où les polonais aiment se retrouver pour boire et manger, jusqu’à 22h, relativement bruyant, mais ils respectent quand même le fait de libérer l’espace à 22h. Vous devez indiquer avec le petit document en carton à accrocher sur votre porte que vous souhaitez le ménage dans votre chambre car cela n’est pas automatique. La réception prête un sèche cheveux si besoin. Le petit déjeuner n’était personnellement pas à mon goût, beaucoup de salé type œuf dur mayo / pâté en gelée, salade en sauce… mais on peut s’en sortir avec un peu de sucré plus classique. Très bon établissement.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Zakopane, and therefore the major attractions are within walking distance. Also, there are two supermarkets in the vicinity. From our room, we could enjoy a panoramic view of the Tatra mountains. The room was clean, but not spacious enough for a family of 3. The beds were super Uncomfortable, especially the sofa bed. Once we've got there we've learned that chambermaids do not make the beds or replace any used coffee cups. They are only responsible for emptying the dust bins, cleaning the bathroom, and replacing towels. The latter is only if the to clean the room is left with the door. When we complained about this kind of service, the receptionist told us that these are the hotel's rules and brought up the reason that this is only a 2-star hotel! We would have opted for an apartment if we wanted this kind of service! The hotel does not have any lifts. Upon our arrival, we found out that our room was located on the 3rd floor so we had to go up more than 160 steps with 5 luggages. As for the breakfast, it was outstanding: a cold buffet and items were always the same. If we decide to return to Zakopane, certainly we would not consider this hotel again.
