Been here before, had a lovely welcome when we arrived, paid all taxes etc, shown to rooms, nice and bright in there, very clean, plenty of space for all bits and bobs, cleaned every day apart from Sunday and bedding and towels every couple of days, breakfast was continental and plenty to pick from, pool area lovely and clean and easy to get beds. staff and cleaners always polite and working hard

A beautiful hotel run by a very friendly and helpful team of owner Stelios and his family. We had a fantastic week in Kalamaki. The rooms were spotless and we would recommend this hotel to anyone. The outdoor pools are kept clean and inviting. There are plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance and the famous Kalamaki beach is a short stroll from the hotel. Breakfast is continental style, but comes with a varied choice. It was over 30 degrees during our stay and would recommend paying the extra for the air conditioning in the room.

A small family run hotel. Great location as near to the beach and restautants. Nice and quiet. Great outdoor gym equipment and good size pool. The snack bar food is lovely and all reasonably priced. Our room was decent and clean. The owner is friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if we went back to Zante.

Just got back from a week's holiday at the Mataxa free WIFI free fridge great location room had everything we needed for the price I think it's value for money.Staff were friendly nothing to much trouble would definitely stay again.Cleaners came in every day except Sunday its there day off you get what it says on the tin.

2 star luxury. It's not 4 star.it is what it is.The owner stelios and irina are so pleasant people and so were the staff. Clean .Breakfast was continental but had everything you needed..shame bar closed early. 9.30ish but being family run they are available at all times. There are other bars very nearby if your thirsty.We had 1 issue with the water pressure in the bathroom, we informed stelios an while we were out the problem was rectified. We would recommend this hotel and go back without hesitation. Thanks. Xx

We went May 2022 , beware of the mosquito pull down screens , there is no signs with ref to these , they spring up if not clipped in , they caused damage to my husbands eye , which required treatment at a medical centre, the owner was not concerned,
