White Olive Premium Cameo

Party of 20 from the UK (11 adults, 9 children across 7 rooms), 1 week stay July 2025, booked via Love Holidays. Certainly not a "luxurious 4 star all inclusive representing the definition of comfort and indulgence" as described on the hotel's website. Pros: Nice location across the road from shallow/calm sea, albeit on just a tiny stretch of sand. Perfect for accessing the waters. Nice pillows - not always a given. Linen and towels were routinely changed. Reception staff try their best but are clearly bewildered by the experience and propaganda provided by the hotel in the 2025 season. Food is average - breakfast is awful but there will be something to eat but no fruit juice or fresh fruit, lunch and dinner are better - repetitive but this is expected from a budget all inclusive holiday. Agios Sostis is a small resort with a handful of lovely, good quality restaurants serving and a scattering of cocktail bars with excellent sea views, great sunrise opportunities too. Cons: Where do I begin. 1 week here and we experienced new issues every day. Cameo Beach is a disgrace and must be on the brink of closure (or at least I hope it is!) Power cuts (resulting in no running water) on 2 occasions - isolated to Cameo Beach - all other establishments were unaffected. 3 further unrelated prolonged periods of zero running water in rooms and guest areas - isolated to Cameo Beach (yes, no flushing toilets/no running water to wash hands/no showers/no drinks (except for beer!) as, bizarrely, the only drinks available at the hotel use machines that run off a plumbed water sources eg coffee/hot water machine and the vile fizzy/sugary drinks or salty carbonated water that are served - these, plus some basic tapped wine and hideous "cocktails", are the only drinks that are available throughout the hotel (no bottled water provided as standard or during the water supply issues). One room offered which was riddled with ants including in the bed (an alternative was provided). Rooms with no hot water (General Manager acknowledged that this is an ongoing issue and he was aware that "some" rooms had not yet been fixed). 3 person room provided with a toddler bed for a 13 year old (eventually resolved). Offensive sewage smells in some rooms. Leaking showers and toilets resulting in flooded bathrooms. Room that could not be opened with the electronic key card (this is basic stuff in 2025). Bizarre bar staff who are clearly disenfranchised with the hotel and the experiences being offered. Then there is the false advertising and propaganda on both the Cameo Beach website and social media sites and the Love Holidays site. The hotel's site lists multiple restaurants being available including a roof garden restaurant - this is a lie. Only a cafeteria-style buffet restaurant is available. The "roof garden" area is closed down with a derelict bar which has clearly not been in use for some time. Bars close at 11pm, no option to obtain drinks post 11, contrary to what the Cameo

Great localisation, clean rooms & tasty food. What we could expect more? Next year we will book the same hotel. Perfect holiday :)

The holiday was overall nice. We liked the hotel and we had a nice and spacious apartment. The service and cleaning were great. The beach was small but quiet. The food was not very varied, but overall tasty. But there was not much choice. Breakfast and snacks could be better. Very good locality of this hotel. We recommend a turtle spot (google maps).
