Very good hotel, the price is really cheap, the value for money is amazing. The staff is very nice. The view is beautiful, because the hotel is on the mountain, you can overlook the whole bay, and I also saw the blood moon. Super cool. If you are tired of walking up and down the mountain, you can rent an AVT to drive yourself. The hotel has free parking.

Very good experience. The front desk staff of the hotel patiently helped me solve all my problems. The service was thoughtful and the room was clean. My arrival time was relatively late. After negotiating with the hotel, the hotel contacted a taxi to pick me up at the airport for free. Since I booked two different room types, the hotel finally upgraded me to the same room type for my convenience. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and varied. 😁

We really enjoyed our stay here for two weeks. We had a suite with a private pool which had incredible views over Zakynthos Town. Overall the hotel is great. The breakfast was really good with lots of choice every morning. The outside seating gives you the same views as our room did which was a lovely setting to eat breakfast. Even though we didn't use the main pool it had plenty of sun loungers and is spacious. The hotel is listed as 4 Stars so we paid the 10€ per night tax but that does give you certain expectations of standards and service and this wasn't met consistently. The room had some issues with cleanliness e.g. walls need painting, the shower had some mould and the chrome not buffed on arrival was noticeable. We weren't asked about our stay in the two weeks we were there. The reception team are really helpful with booking taxis and hiring a car but we found the team at breakfast sometimes moody and stroppy. Not even a "Kalimera" or a smile some mornings which are the basics of hospitality and something the manager needs to observe and correct. The blonde girl in breakfast however was friendly and pleasant most mornings. She even said hello to us when we saw her in the town. We did have an issue on a Saturday night where the room next to ours had left their TV on and at 2am was still very loud. We spoke to the night receptionist who eventually did something to turn it off as the guests weren't responding. It would've been nice if the manager or reception team had spoken to us about this the following day. Overall we did enjoy our stay just a few minor issues which didn't spoil it. The views are stunning and it really made our stay special.

Currently on holiday in this hotel and thoroughly enjoying everything about it. The location is ideal if you want peace and quiet but less so if you want to be in the midst of the resort. The views from the hotel are amazing and for this alone I would return here for another holiday. All of the staff are extremely friendly, polite and incredibly helpful, nothing is a bother to them. Yes it's true the bathrooms are dated and could do with a facelift but I don't go on holiday to spend my time in the bathroom so it's not a huge concern to me. The breakfast is fantastic and the choice of food is immense, can't comment on the evening meal as I'm just here on a B & B basis. The bar prices are a little high compared to bars in the town centre but there's a little shop nearby and the rooms have fridges so you can stock up on drinks should you you want to. There's no problem getting a sun lounger and the hotel provide pool towels without the need for a deposit. Hired a car through the hotel which was very easy, the lovely girl on reception sorted it all for me and the car was delivered to the hotel on the day and at the time it was ordered for. I'm not sure I would class the hotel as 4* luxury as parts of it are dated and could do with being updated but it is a very high 3*. I would come back and stay here again without hesitation.

We recently stayed at the Avalon Hotel and overall had a really lovely experience. We booked the suite with the private pool, which was absolutely amazing--definitely a highlight of our stay. It was a perfect touch of luxury and made for a very relaxing trip. The breakfast was also very enjoyable. While the selection wasn't huge, everything offered was fresh and super tasty. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and polite, which added to the warm atmosphere of the hotel. That said, we did encounter a few issues related to room cleanliness and privacy. Upon arrival, we noticed hair and a razor cap left in the shower, which clearly suggested the area hadn’t properly been cleaned. After using the shower, we discovered the drain was blocked, causing water to flood the room. We had to use all of our towels, including the ones provided for the pool, to soak it up. Reception was informed, but unfortunately, the problem couldn't be resolved until the following day. Eventually, the shower was fixed and the used towels were taken away. We also had some confusion around the hotel's cleaning policy. Initially, we had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, which was removed by a staff member who informed us they no longer allow them. When we asked for our privacy to be respected but still wanted regular cleaning, the response felt a bit dismissive-saying they wouldn't clean room until we left. Later, while we were in the pool on our balcony, the cleaning manager entered our room unannounced, stating she had knocked twice. The layout of the suite is long, so more time should have been given before entering, or ideally, she should have waited for an answer. Aside from these issues, the hotel itself is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. With a bit more attention to housekeeping and guest privacy, this place would be close to perfect. Would still recommend for the great amenities and overall experience.

Lovely hotel and really helpful staff. Nice classic vibe to the hotel, pool with a view of the sea from the hill and a tasty breakfast. When figuring out transport options the staff went out of their way to help us and share different options, they recommended nice beaches in the area and it was really helpful.

Start of season and not everything was set up. Lack of food etc. We had a suite and a private pool which was wonderful. The view was Amazing.. I can not fault the staff. They were all Fantastic. Could not do enough for you. Especially Alex. Kate and Zoi. And the besutiful lady behind the bar. We had a brilliant time in Greece. Ty all.xxx
