Bitzaro Palace Hotel - All Inclusive

Had a great time. The hotel is small enough to give a quality experience but big enough to cater for everyone’s needs. Food excellent and plenty of choice. Pool gorgeous. Plenty of sun beds. A few people get up early to grab one poolside but it’s ok there’s plenty of areas to chose from. If you’re polite and nice to the bar staff they’re the same back. Short walk to the beach and the local *****. We hired a turtle watching boat trip organised by reception - highly recommended. The best day of our visit. We’d definitely go back. Just what we needed. Lovely hotel. Quite quiet and not very big. We are not early risers but we always got a lounger (it was late May). Food was great, we thought it was one of best from all the hotels we’ve stayed in and you can get food pretty much all day. There was no activities during the day and only entertainment 3 times while we were there ( it was early season though) so if you like that kind of holiday this isn’t for you. We loved how quiet it was. A small book shelf for swapping books is in reception. It’s a few minutes walk into Kalamaki which is just a ***** of shops, restaurants and hire shops. About a 5/10 min walk to the beach. The water was warm enough to swim in at the end of May. A boat trip to see the turtles is an absolute must! The hotel was great!!!

We travelled as a family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The airport is close by and in consequence the transfer to Kalamaki takes about 5 - 6 minutes. There is occasional noise from landing planes but very brief and infrequent and none overnight. The staff are very attentive and looked after us well. Other reviews have criticized the sunbed situation but it would only be a problem in high season and only because there is only one row of sunloungers around the pool which are preferred by most people. There are many sunloungers slightly back from the pool area so most people can be accommodated. The food in the restaurant is very good and the desserts are fantastic. Throughout the day the snack bar with drinks and food is available and very popular. You order your food and it normally only takes 5 mins to be cooked. Salads, wraps and cheeseburgers are well worth it. The rooms are cleaned daily and there is a real sense that the staff take pride in keeping the hotel in a spotless condition. The main bar is only open in the evening as you get all drinks throughout the day at the snack bar. Some people have commented that the restaurant bar could stay open later but the bar "upstairs" by reception is all that is needed although occasionally you may have a short queue. Kalamaki itself is a vibrant town with plenty of restaurants and bars and more civilised than Laganas which is only 5 minutes away by taxi. Praise is due to the various bar owners in the town who are, without exception, very welcoming, where we spent several night playing billiards and relaxing. One word of advice if you have overnight flights as we did, please note when your checkout time is, as we had to check out 10 am on Tuesday morning when our pick up coach was 3 am on Wednesday. However the hotel arranged an additional room, at cost, to make packing luggage, showering and getting some sleep much easier. Overall a really enjoyable holiday and we have no hesitation in recommending the Bitzaro Palace. Late July / August can be very hot though.

Nothing to complain about here. (Apart from the daily sunbed challenge, but no different to any other hotel, and can't blame the establishment or staff for that really.) Lovely small hotel with well kept grounds and gardens. Staff are friendly and efficient, Petra on reception made us feel welcome immediately at check in and was super helpful throughout our stay. The food in the restaurant is a very good standard, enough choice for a small place, always hot and constantly refreshed during mealtimes. Plenty of salads, fresh fruit, cakes and deserts on offer too. Rooms are spacious and clean. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely qwite hotel, staff friendly and work hard, meals something for every one rooms nice and clean, great location for beach, shops ECT, the only thing is if you wont a sunbed you have to get up really early as people put there towels down at 6am in the morning so had to go beach a lot, you can't get cold water you have to bye bottles to put in your fridge in your room, as it's an all inclusive hotel water should be available all day and evening. Overall a good hotel
