We had a great holiday here. As others have said it's a very quiet location, we didn't hire a car and so we're limited to the local beaches, tavernas and supermarkets, but that was enough for us. Gerakas beach is amazing for snorkeling and very pretty. We had a great view of this from our balcony. This is a Greek 4 star hotel, and the facilities, rooms and cleanliness reflected that. Air conditioning was great and the rooms cleaned to a high standard. Pool was small but generally lots of comfortable sunbeds, pool was reasonably clean although the tiles looked like they could do with a bit more frequent clean, but this was towards end of season. We were b&b and the breakfast was as others have described, adequate not amazing. The waiting staff were brilliant. My only complaints were that the kitchenette needed more equipment, I wouldn't expect to be able to cook a large meal, but there wasn't even a knife sharp enough to cut fruit or bread. I did ask reception about it but they said this was normal and I could buy a knife from a shop... The other negative was the temperature in the breakfast room, the hotel really should invest in air conditioning or at least some fans, and some shade for the outside tables. I felt sorry for the waiters who were drenched in sweat. Supermarkets are a bit of a trek, the one by mais is the closest, about 500m, it has no prices on products but is around the same price as everywhere else. Village supermarket has signs saying 400m but is 1km away, market by Gerakas beach is small but reasonably priced. Mouria supermarket towards Porto Roma had a sign near the hotel gym but had shut down when we were there. Nice hotel in a quiet location, everywhere was a bit of a walk but generally worth it.
