This was our ninth visit to this resort. Since it changed ownership there has been a slight improvement. The best thing for us is knowing the wonderful staff who have been there for years and become friends over the years. Elli, Lennie,Alex, Albana and Sophia who we keep in contact with. Kostas in the Monachas restaurant is the best there can be. With regards to the food this can be hit and miss in the main dinning area where you have to compete with the flies for your food. Tables are not cleared quickly enough between courses. We ate in 3 of the Al acarte restaurants and the service and food was very good. We did not use the restaurant near the beach which is only open for lunches as it’s not the way to have a big meal in the midday heat. The room we had was very comfortable with only one complaint which was reported but never fixed. The plug in the hand basin had broken and there was a big hole in its place. We were offered a spa treatment as complimentary but when we went to claim it the lady in customer service could not find the book and took our details but we never heard from her again. Overall it a good resort but the only 5• part is the price. At best I would rate it 4• until they sort out the food issues and service. Sadly as they have priced themselves out of the market for average earners we might not be able to go back.

What a fabulous hotel the service was amazing, the room was stunning, the bed super comfortable. We came to rest and recharge after a very busy few months and this hotel and the fabulous staff certainly made it possible! We spent most of our days on the beach, with fresh towels available all day long. We did also adventure out on quad bikes for a day which is a must if you’re coming to this lovely island. They work hard to give a relaxed luxury vibe which they do achieve. We will definitely be back - thank you
