I had a very unpleasant experience staying at Hotel Krinas in Argassi. The owner of the hotel was extremely rude and aggressive. On the day of checkout, she yelled at me and started a full-blown argument simply because I had checked out “too late” — even though I was never informed of the checkout time. To make matters worse, she lied to the booking company I used. She claimed she had tried to call me (which is completely untrue — I received no call), and even said I refused to leave the room, which is simply false. I was out driving and had no idea I had to leave the room by a certain time. She insisted she had told me, but this never happened. Another issue: the hotel has very strict and unreasonable rules. You’re not even allowed to drink your own water by the pool — I was told off just for that — because they force you to buy everything at their bar. It felt controlling and completely unwelcoming. Also, the room itself was extremely old and worn down. The furniture, bathroom, and overall condition felt neglected and outdated. It did not match the description or photos online at all. The whole experience left a very bitter taste, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel if you’re looking for a peaceful and respectful holiday environment.
