Bitzaro Grande Hotel & Suites

5/5 Again for the Bitzaro. Our 3rd visit. Amazing staff who just want to make your holiday as happy as possible. One of our party had a 60th birthday whilst there asked reception if we could get a small cake? Yes I'll get the pastry chef to make one for you and we'll bring it out with the candle's on. No real issues with sun loungers but still a few towel numpties at first light. Fab food and lots of choices. Only minor gripe is the soft drinks/tonic not great quality get a soda tap installed in the pool bar and main bar. Absolutely no complaints it's a great hotel, spotless efficient and gets everything right. Great location just off the *****, short walk to the beach. Nice to see Costas too.

We had a really lovely stay. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel itself is really pretty and clean. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a jacuzzi suite half way through our stay, and having the private pool felt so luxurious. The food was consistently good with a fair amount of variety even for a Pescetarian, and we thought the fresh additions (like churros, crepes and omelettes) being made in front of you at each meal was a great extra touch. The most pleasant surprise for us was the live music every few nights; they were all genuinely brilliant! We expected the evenings to be relatively quiet with no typical entertainment (which we were deliberately avoiding!) but there was a relaxed but lovely atmosphere every night with lots of guests at the bar and on the terrace playing table games. The second half of our stay fell into October and it did start to feel a bit quieter but certainly not dead, and that’s to be expected towards the end of the season. The only improvement for us would be the quality of the all inclusive drinks, but there was enough selection that we could always find something drinkable. The area is fine for what we wanted, as we were mostly looking to stay at the hotel anyway. On our final night we went for a meal at Zakanthi on the main ***** and would definitely recommend it. Thank you for such a lovely relaxing break and making us feel so special and taken care of.

We were made so welcome on our return to this lovely hotel. Swift check in and rooms are spotlessly clean. Most comfortable bed, wanted to bring it home. Food is very good, both in main restaurant and Poolside Snackbar. Great location - a couple of minutes walk to main *****, bars and restaurants and 10 minutes from the beach. The staff are what make this hotel special. From reception, cleaning staff waiters. Alway smiling and very helpful. Had excellent 2 weeks. Will certainly be returning soon.

We have been visiting this hotel since 2015. A beautiful hotel in lovely grounds in a very good position for both the beach and restaurants and bars. Staff in every role do a brilliant job and are all very friendly and ensure you enjoy your stay. Restaurant service and food is excellent. All areas are kept extremely clean. Our room was cleaned to a excellent standard every morning. Bar service during the day and night was excellent and always served by very friendly staff. Really can't fault this hotel and look forward to returning in 2025.

Stayed at the Bitzaro Grande with my wife for a short break mid September. Upon our arrival we were ushered into the restaurant which was about to close and told to return after we had eaten to check in. From that moment on we were looked after by the polite, friendly staff, from the check in, restaurant and bar staff and the cleaners, they were always on hand and only too happy to help. The rooms were clean and tidy and very comfortable. With it being out of the main season there was no mad rush for sun loungers around the pool, there were plenty and always available. All the rooms were occupied so this was quite pleasing. The beach is a pleasant ten minute walk away along a very quite road. The restaurants, bars and shops are again just a couple of minutes walk away and we were surprised in these days of All Inclusive that the bars and restaurants were busy every night. Having said that we were always able to get a seat wherever we visited. I don't know what this hotel is like during the high season but for us it was just perfect and would definitely recommend. The airport is only about ten minutes drive away which for us was a bonus as it meant no lengthy transfer journey. Obviously being so close means you get aircraft taking off and landing throughout the day but I did not hear anyone comment or moan about this, in fact most people seemed to enjoy watching the planes. We will definitely see you again next year Bitzaro. Yamas.

Had a fantastic 11 nights here beginning of September and honestly can't fault this place. Staff super friendly and food also above average. Tucked away between the beach and kalamaki main rd. Would definitely recommend getting a suite with a private pool.

This hotel is fabulous, the staff the food the pool, the rooms all brilliant. We had a great time from the moment we came til the moment we left we loved it. It was our anniversary while we were there and we were left a note and a lovely bottle of wine. The staff here work really hard the snack bar nan Michael was great and so were the other bar staff and restaurant staff. The food was so good the chef is outstanding. Hope to come again thank you lovely Bitzaro ❤️❤️

Absolutely love it! We stayed in August 2024 for 10 days and food and facilities were making our holiday are special!!!thank you very much for all hard work. I'm highly grateful and 100 procent for recommend it to stay there. Reception girls very helpful and professional. Snacks and drinks. Rooms are well built and clean. Swim up pool and tennis table.

This is my 2nd visit to the Bitzaro Grande. It ticks all the boxes. Around an 8 minutes taxi journey from the airport costing 20 euros. Staff are excellent. Rooms are very clean and attended to everyday. Great air conditioning which was much needed in the August heat. The general areas are also kept very clean and public toilets around the hotel are also spotless. Food is excellent, always plentiful no matter what time you arrive at the restaurant. I’m not vegetarian but ate most of the vegetarian dishes as they were delicious. Fresh pancakes and crepes were a big hit at breakfast. Beer wasn’t the best and cocktails ok but that didn’t bother us much. Snack bar was excellent with toasters, hot dogs, chips etc if you had any room after lunch ! Help yourself to ice cream. Pools were well attended to and again very clean. Beach towels for hire at 5 euro which is refunded when you hand them back. Courtesy room given on the day we were leaving as it was a late flight. Very safe hotel if anyone travelling alone or younger couples. Beach within a 10 minute easy walk which takes you all the way to Laganas (5km approx round walk). Still has the old fashioned Greek feel about the area which is appealing to us. Plenty restaurants and bars a few minutes walk up the hill to main road. A big children’s adventure area with bouncy castles and entertainment etc. The only small criticism was the guests leaving towels on sunbeds late in the evening for the following day. Not a fan of getting up early to secure a sun lounger ! All in all a great time at the Bitzaro. See you again soon !
