Family-friendly Hotels in Zakinthos Island

Top resort hotels strongly recommend a spa massage. The price of more than 100 euros is an unprecedented comfortable experience. The hotel upgraded the swimming pool suite for free and has a dedicated butler service. The breakfast is great in Europe. The restaurant in the hotel is not recommended for 80 euros. 8 dishes per person is pretty average

Overall facilities are good. However, the tourism consulting services provided by the hotel are lacking: I stayed for 4 days and the weather was bad, rainy and windy, and the boats out of the hotel were suspended. The hotel only provided their own services. When asked if there were restaurants or other nearby, they didn't know/or didn't tell. I can only stay in Shadian for 4 days. Actually, it’s not the case. On the last day, there were many restaurants and travel-related sea tours, including horse ride, car tour, jet tour, etc., just 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel. It was very lively.

There are not many varieties of breakfast, but at least there are fried eggs, boiled eggs, bread, coffee, cereals and juices, which can meet the basic needs of the Chinese people. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning, there was no room left, I could only wait for someone to check out, but the hotel said that I could go to the restaurant for breakfast, but it was more humane. The location of the hotel is in the mountains, so you must consider renting a car when you come to live, otherwise you will feel that it is difficult to move.

The parent-child swimming pool is not open and I don't know why. The pool water is a bit deep and the deepest 1.69 Fortunately, our children can swim, otherwise they may be a little worried. The hotel will also have various toys in the pool for play, no need to go out to buy, this is very good. The hotel is close to the airport and there will be sound. In addition, the hotel bath water is salty. Forgot to say, overall satisfaction

Just returned from a family holiday St Johns villa’s,. Everyone of the staff are fantastic and a asset to St Johns. As everyone, a long over due break is what our family needed, 2 weeks chilling in the sun is what everyone works hard all year round for. We booked a 3 bedroom villa with Jet2, it didn’t disappoint, it was clean, spacious fully air conditioned, own pool, what more do you need on this beautiful island. The walk down to Tsilivli is about 10-15 mins downhill, which isn’t to bad to be fair, lots of amazing restaurants and bar’s to enjoy the night. We always walked back up the hill, if you have issues walking I would advise a taxi, plenty available. I honestly think is just what we all needed after been stuck at home for 2 years. I don't understand why there is a few negative reviews. Having just returned after 10 days at the Galaxy beach hotel, I can only say it's a really lovely Hotel. From arriving to departure the staff were very friendly and helpful. At check in they were very helpful and in no time we were taken to our room and because we were a bit too late for dinner there was a nice fresh sandwich and water waiting for us. The room we were given had two large bedrooms and as we were with our adult daughter it gave us the privacy when we needed it. We had a large balcony with side sea view and both bedrooms had sliding doors onto it. The bathroom was large and very nice with two washbasins , and TV and aircon in both rooms. We were all inclusive and the food was good and something different every day, as you can expect from a buffet it was sometimes not very hot but there was a microwave for use if needed ( we never used it) The beach bar was lovely and never had to wait in a queue...the staff were friendly and a special mention for Danielle at the bar..... she was always happy and the service was amazing. The sunbeds by the pool were all taken quite early but we could always find a table overlooking the beach , the only min point is having to pay 10 euros per person for a sunbed on the beach, that's 30 euros a day extra which adds up when your there for 10 days. We did hire a car for a few days and had a lovely drive round the island. All in all a wonderful holiday and I highly recommend Galaxy beach.

My wife and I stayed here between 11th and 18th October. The initial impression of the hotel was excellent having been greeted at the door and all paperwork brought to us without the usual queue at Reception, this was a really nice touch to give our holiday an excellent start. We continues to be impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and how much all of the staff would go the extra mile to ensure a first class service. A special mention for our pool bartender Marios who looked after us throughout our stay, however the staff at the main bar were also outstanding. The room was clean and well maintained throughout our stay, the water preasure was extremely low resulting in a feeble shower performance. Food was as expected in an all inclusive which is difficult to try and accommodate so many different people, whilstbon occassion the food was cold it was edible and we never went hungry. There were some services which had closed due to it being end of season but it didn't appear that everyone was informed i.e. the Spa closed witjout warning and some guests had already booked treatments and a couple of the restaurabts were closed and we only discovered this when trying to book. It didn't spoil our holiday though. On the whole a really nice hotel that delivers a first classs service.

Just got back from this hotel . Looks very nice from the outside . Very basic but I’ve been to loads of basic hotels that were loads better than this one . It’s in a great location just set behind the start of the ***** and about 10 mins if that to the beach . The rooms are ok. Only a couple of sockets so take an extension plug . Breakfast was terrible we only went in once over our stay . Snack bar food was nice especially Greek salad and milk shakes were lovely . No bar you just get your drinks from a fridge . Everything closed at around 9 at night . Safes are in reception so you need to make sure you have every thing you need or it will be closed . Plenty beds round the pool but no atmosphere at all . Really quiet . Nice clean pool though . The owner was a pleasant man . You have to pay for the fridge as an extra. The bathroom bin was emptied every day but the floor was never swept . There was a bug on the floor for days and we had to keep our flip flops on all the time as our feet would get dirty off the floor . It didn’t stop us have a great holiday though as we were out every night and will definitely go back to this resort just not this hotel .
