Room No. 003 on the first floor was very small and closed, with no windows to open and no air circulation, so I didn't want to stay in the room at all except during sleeping hours. It feels much simpler than Jinjiang Star. Really, the stars abroad are not the same.
When I booked Hotel bastion heritage this time, I didn’t have room for three consecutive nights, so I had to book the Teatro Verdi hotel across the street for the last night.
The strange thing is that neither hotel provides bottled water, which is probably the norm here. Fortunately, there is a supermarket not far away, and a bottle costs less than one euro. It's just a hot day. When we got to the room, there wasn't even a bottle of ice-cold mineral water. As a four- or five-star hotel, it seemed a bit stingy!

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is very close to the Sea Organ. I went there three times to enjoy the deep and beautiful sound of the Sea Organ! Other major attractions are also not far away and are within easy walking distance. The room is clean and tidy. Parking is in the reserved parking space on the side of the hotel.

Actually a great little boutique hotel, very friendly staff, very nice breakfast and all around a great experience. If we are in Zadar again I would definitely consider to stay here again which is normally a rare thing for us. Thanks for the excellent service and hospitality and clean cosy room!

Une grande chambre , avec un lit confortable et tout ce qu il faut dans la salle de bain. Le petit dejeuner est excellent , produits de qualite et du choix. Le personnel est charmant et conseille des restau ( bonne adresse). Enfin cet hotel est idéalement situe , à proximite des centres d interet et du centre ville.

Man zahlt vor allem für die Lage. Zimmerfenster im EG ging zur Straße/Parkstreifen- damit aber sicher ruhiger als auf der anderen Seite (Touristenstraße). Bad und Zimmer waren geräumig und modern. Die Betten waren groß und sehr bequem. Das Personal am Empfang war stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Parkplatzreservierung hat geklappt (zwingend! Öffentliche Parkplätze so gut wie nicht verfügbar). Leider waren ab 8 die Reinigungskräfte am Gang sehr laut. Grösster Kritikpunkt: Das Frühstück. In einen 4 Sterne Haus auch auf Nachfrage keine frischen Säfte, wenig Brotauswahl, Marmeladen abgepackt, Teebeutel-Qualität mäßig. Dafür 5-6 Sorten Leberwurstaufstrich-Varianten?! Aussenterrasse ok, aber nicht mehr palmengesäumt und auch nicht hübsch eingedeckt. Wir hatten gutes Wetter- bei schlechtem nicht vorstellbar, wo man sitzen sollte, da Frühstücksbereich sehr klein. Preis-Leistung daher naja.

Location to old town excellent for walking to all areas. Hotel staff at front desk lovely, and very very helpful. Room quite comfortable except for old dirty carpeting that needs replacing. First hotel we’ve stayed at on this trip where rooms had carpeting vs wood or tile which is much more sanitary. Although breakfast was included, we were told the a la carte menu was extra, as was any specialty coffee. The buffet breakfast was not up to the standard for a boutique hotel- very mediocre. In the end, we were not charged for anything we ordered off the menu, which was confusing.
