The hotel shuttle bus has a timetable that you can ask for. The hotel is located in the Iwhara Ski Resort. It is recommended to rent ski equipment directly from the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and the service is very good. The room is clean and spacious. Although the hot spring is not large, it is clean and comfortable. The scenery in the lobby and restaurant is very good. Overall, I am very satisfied with the experience.

We visited in January with my family of four, and in March with my siblings' families, a total of ten people.
The staff were all very friendly, the facilities were clean, the breakfast and dinner were delicious, the location was great, and the whole family was very satisfied.

建物自体は可愛らしいペンションのような外観をしているんですが、一流を感じさせてくれるホテルです。 以前も宿泊しましたが、一部 リニューアルされてなんだか安っぽくなったように感じてしまいました。 ロビー空間は、大きな窓から谷川岳連峰が広がって絶景を楽しむことができます。 フロント前はいい感じではありますが ちょっと座りにくいソファーが並んでます。 コーヒーとスマホでゆっくりと楽しめるようなリラックス空間です。 お部屋や露天風呂からも谷川岳が一望でき、贅沢な時間を過ごすことができ落ち着きました。 宿泊した部屋はゲレンデ面で夜整備している車両が一晩中やってました。 夕食はコース料理です。洋食って感じではありましたが 少しアレンジし過ぎかもしれないです。 部屋の暖房が床暖房だけで、調整がきかなかったのが残念です。それ以外は大変良かったと感じます。

高台から見下ろす景色が素晴らしいホテルです。ロビーなどのインテリアも落ち着いた雰囲気です。いつか読もうと思って読めていなかった本を持参して、前庭に置かれた椅子で読みましたが、大変気持ちよく読書ができました。 夕食、朝食とも品数は少なくても、美味しかった。特に朝食はバイキングでしたが、味噌汁や焼き魚(鮭)は手作り(既製品やレトルトでない)のようで大変質が高かったです。 お風呂は循環式でしたが、清潔で気持ちよく使えました。湯上りにはアイスキャンディーのサービスあり。 朝、スタッフの方が駐車場に停まっているお客さんの車(簡単に水をかける程度ですが)洗車していて感動しました。 ホテルの両脇はスキーコースのようで、スキーの時期にまた来てみたいと思いました。

I have gone back to Sierra Resort 3-4 times as my boys and I had fond memories of this place . It is beautiful with full size windows and it is lovely to sit and watch the snow . The staff is very welcoming and treat us like friends coming back to visit . However the very last trip , a younger n new staff manager was rather curt and abrasive , hence didn't leave me with a good taste . The onsen is beautiful as in the picture . The food is nice but not quite enough for my boys after a long day of ski .
