Ebisuya Ryokan

On the first day of check-in, we took the Shinkansen to the East Exit of Echigo Yuzawa Station. There is also a delicious breakfast and dinner every day. The bathing area in the hotel is a bathhouse, which is separated by gender and has a washing machine for washing clothes. The ski equipment shop opposite the hotel is very friendly. They rent snow suits, snow pants, snowboards, snow boots, helmets, gloves, snow goggles and other equipment at very low prices. When we went to the ski resort to ski in the morning and returned to the hotel, the hotel owner was very friendly and lively to pick us up. After skiing, there is a drying room in the hotel where you can store your ski equipment. Although we don't speak Japanese, we used translation software to communicate with the proprietress, who was very kind and patient. Overall, this stay was a very good experience!

It was my first time to learn skiing, so I stayed in Echigo Yuzawa for three days. Although this hotel is a bit far from the station, you can take the shuttle bus to Yuzawa Park Ski Resort directly. The landlady and the boss are very nice and considerate. They shuttle us to Iwahara Ski Resort every day❤️. The highlight is that the breakfast and dinner meals are quite delicious! Almost nothing is repeated, every meal is cleared😋 The owner of the ski shop directly opposite is also great. The equipment is complete and the price is cheap. He even helped us get a discount without haggling, which was super nice.
