Located on the ring of the old street, it is also close to Douliu Railway Station. There are many snack bars nearby, which is very convenient. I don’t know if it was because there were so many people on the day of check-in that the service at the front desk was a bit perfunctory. There was no explanation of all the information in the hotel. Even breakfast, I had to ask myself where to eat before responding. Is it because I was tired from work or because I thought everyone should come to check in? As we all know, one night is not cheap, but the service is worse than that of ordinary hotels.

To any Westerner looking at places to stay: the Orient Luxury Villa Hotel is, at it’s core, a Love Hotel. Since most ********* live with their parents until they get married, if you want private time alone with your boyfriend/girlfriend (or illicit lover...) you rent a few hours at a Love Hotel. My wife and I booked the Orient Luxury Hotel not knowing that it is a Love Hotel (which my wife found HILARIOUS, btw). The room was very clean and stylish. The bathroom included a jacuzzi with “rain maker” (a large shower head over the jacuzzi). the bathroom/shower/jacuzzi area was at least as large as the bedroom. The decor was unique and attractive! There were also families here despite the ... “toys” / “marital aids” ... for sale in the vending machine in the private garage attached to our room. I’m guessing many who come here don’t have a lot of luggage, so unsurprisingly there weren’t luggage racks or closets to hang clothes. There was a refrigerator and electric kettle. The location is a little out of town so Uber Eats wouldn’t deliver, but Food Panda did. My only real complaint was breakfast. We were assigned a time to eat (not complaining about that) and when we got there the little dining room was packed. We were given a table in a corner. The buffet had ten or twelve different items to choose from, but many were cold from sitting out. Maybe if you get the early setting the food is fresh and hot? For us it was neither. It’s too bad because there was ample selection, but after trying a few cold dishes (cold eggs? Ick!) I didn’t bother with any others. I would give the accommodations 4 stars, but the underwhelming breakfast drops the overall score to 3 stars.

The location is very good. Chaotian Palace is downstairs. The sound insulation is also good. When I entered the room, I found that the air conditioner was cold first, which I thought was very considerate. The only drawback was that there were hairs on the table in the room, and on the bathtub and toilet lid of the toilet. There is hair and needs to be strengthened~ Everything else is great!

The breakfast was pretty good. I thought it was great to stay in this hotel in Douliu. There are Baroque buildings on Taiping Road next to it that I could visit. I thought it was a worthwhile trip. Not far from Douliu Station. Douliu Ningji Yuting is also about 4 kilometers away. I will stay there again next time I come to Douliu.

Because I have to participate in Dajia Mazu Environment (Xiluo) the next morning, I chose to stay at this hotel. I stayed at the hotel on the evening of April 10. There was a phone call to confirm the arrival time in the morning. Although I told the reception staff that I would arrive at 7 o'clock (actually only check in at 9 o'clock) But the hotel staff did not call to urge the counter staff to receive very kind. We are 3 people staying. Choose 2 single beds for an extra bed. The double room type. The room equipment is simple and clean. Although it is not good value for money, it is still satisfactory. The room is on the 11th floor but because of the relationship with the train station. The train passes by. The sound is still a bit disturbing, but it is acceptable (if you are not sleeping well, friends may ask for a room with your back to the train station) Breakfast is acceptable the next day (in terms of accommodation price) Only on that day, there is a mainland tour group to eat together. The habit of picking up meals is not good (with your own dumplings, Put the bread in the oven) But this is not the hotel's fault. There is no way to ask if there is a group guest accommodation when you check in to avoid dining with them at the same time.

The room is very clean, and the toilet and bathtub are separated, which I find very convenient! People going to the toilet and taking a shower will not affect each other. Moreover, the reservation comes with breakfast for two guests and free beer at the rooftop bar, not in cans, but in bottles! The bar environment on the top floor is also quite good. There are all kinds of cocktails to try. It’s very easy to fall asleep after drinking. 😆
