It is approximately 15 minutes from the key sunrise (日照金山) viewing spots and about 30 minutes from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山). The location offers a thoughtful balance of convenience and tranquillity. Ride-hailing via DIDI is straightforward (there’s always a ride confirmed within a few seconds), and Baisha Ancient Town (白沙古镇) is less than a 10-minute walk away. For those planning to visit Shuhe Ancient Town (束河古镇) and Lijiang Ancient City (丽江古城), they are about 15 minutes and 30 minutes away respectively. Yundu (云渡) is well-situated for both nature excursions and easy access to the surrounding towns. The service is excellent—my room was consistently cleaned while I was at breakfast—and other meals (lunch/dinner) can be ordered from the kitchen at very reasonable prices. One of the highlights of my stay, however, was returning each day to their seven-month-old Samoyed, who is friendly and playful whenever he is not entertaining other guests. I initially planned to stay four nights but extended to seven because of the cosy atmosphere, convenient location, and daily playtime with Sanjin (三斤). You can also ask the front desk or message them on WeChat anytime—everyone there is so friendly and helpful. One day, they even surprised me with a bun from Henan, which was such a sweet touch.

**Pros:** The location is perfect, situated inside Yuhu Village. **I would recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lijiang.** You don’t actually need to visit Baisha or Old Town Lijiang—this place is far more beautiful. It’s quieter, less crowded, and has fewer tourists. Every corner of this hotel is aesthetically pleasing. The coffee is excellent, and they offer free pickup and drop-off service to the station. The views are magnificent. **Cons:** Now, onto what’s lacking. The toilets don’t have bidets. This might be acceptable for some travelers. Overall, this hotel is worth the money.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Logee Inn, and it was an unforgettable experience. Originally chose the Inn for its proximity to a private kitchen/fine dining, the inn surpassed my expectations. Location: Logee Inn is perfectly situated just on the outskirts of Baisha, an easy 10minute walk or the lovely manager happily dropped us off and picked us up. Accommodations: The rooms are beautiful with large windows and direct view of Yulong Snow Mountain. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a higher-grade room, which featured a large roof terrace. The view of the mountains from the large windows was amazing, adding to the overall charm of our stay. This room also included unlimited barista coffee, which was a delightful treat! Service: The service was impeccable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations or any needs. The hotel manager even offered to drop us off and pick us up from Baisha Old Town. Evening Experience: One of the highlights was the evening atmosphere—they lit a fire in the back garden, creating a cozy space to unwind. Dining: The breakfast options were hearty and delicious, offering both Western and Chinese breakfast sets that catered to all tastes, with rice noodles as well as croissants and Americanos. Overall Experience: I highly recommend Logee Inn for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of Baisha. The scenery and peacefulness and service was amazing.
