For instance, to use the cabin's toilet, all curtains on the first level must be closed. Additionally, the toilet bowl is situated behind stairs without any curtains, potentially allowing others in the cabin to see. Moreover, the second-level flooring consists of planks with numerous gaps, providing visibility to the first level, including the bathtub and toilet bowl. I strongly advise against booking this accommodation for families with children due to the safety risk posed by the sliding doors on the second level, which lack safety measures. While they offer a unique view of the mountain, the danger of potential falls is significant. If you do choose to consider it as a family cabin, I recommend checking with the staff to lock the doors from the outside for added safety. Despite the unexpected aspects mentioned above, our overall stay was still decent. The staff were hospitable and helpful throughout our visit. Communication was convenient via WeChat for check-in details, recommendations, and self-checkout. It seems that the camping style of accommodation was a selling point, it’s definitely a unique stay. I’m sure there’s a specific crowd that would fully enjoy the experience.

The B&B has a great environment and the view is first-rate! I kept taking photos when I arrived, and I was lucky to have booked a great value room. The two ladies who own the B&B are interesting and enthusiastic. Two days is not enough, and I want to stay a few more days. The surrounding environment is very good and quiet. I can hear the chirping of insects and birds every day and enjoy the relaxing vacation time. I heard from the B&B lady that it will be more beautiful in winter. I have already booked my flight tickets and will come again in winter.

It takes about ten minutes to drive to the best observation point of the sunrise at Jinshan. I watched it in the hotel room with the air conditioner on.

It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the nearest Baisha Ancient City. It will be more convenient to drive by yourself, or take a taxi, but the speed of getting a taxi will be slower. My wife and I stayed here the last few days of our vacation in Yunnan Province. It was exactly what we needed! The hotel is so beautiful at the edge of the lake with mountains in the background. We arrived on Chinese New Year’s Eve and Ezo and the other owners made us feel like family. My wife was even invited to help make jiaozi (dumplings). We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with the owners and other guests. Our room was very comfortable and had a beautiful balcony that looked out at the lake and mountains. We had a delicious breakfast every morning and ate dinner several evenings. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. We look forward to visiting again in the spring or summer!!
