During our two-day trip to Lijiang, besides experiencing the beauty of Lijiang Old Town, the experience of staying at this B&B was a truly remarkable addition. The comfortable stay made our trip to Lijiang a perfect ending.
The hotel provided a free pick-up service. We had arranged the pick-up in advance, and when we exited the high-speed rail station, the shuttle was already waiting. This thoughtful service was truly heartwarming, even after a long journey.
As soon as we entered the room, we knew it was a great value. It was spacious, clean, and tidy. The bed was a king-size 2.2 meters (a real bonus for someone like me who loves king-size beds), and the bedding was clean and high-quality, reflecting the owner's discerning taste. The complimentary fruit in the room was fresh and delicious. I usually avoid complimentary hotel items, but this one was a delight.
The room was very modern, with a hairdryer and kettle, which felt comfortable to use (I wouldn't normally use a kettle, but those who know how can understand it). The tea set and tea leaves were also provided, a real bonus. The smart washbasin with its automatically illuminated mirror is incredibly large. Toiletries are fully stocked, and there's plenty of hot water. After a hot shower, all fatigue melted away. Waking up the next morning, watching the sunlight stream through the floor-to-ceiling windows onto the bed, I felt completely at home.
The hotel is very close to the high-speed rail station, only a five- or six-minute drive away, yet the route is quiet and out of the bustling city center. Lijiang Old Town is also conveniently located; a taxi ride takes about ten minutes and costs only 15 yuan. There are also many attractions nearby, including the Lijiang Thousand Years of Romance scenic area, which is just over ten minutes away.
Besides the accommodation, the hotel's surroundings are also fantastic. I highly recommend it. There's a teahouse on the first floor, and the owner warmly invited us for tea. There's also a pet room with several cats, and it's clear the owner is a very caring person. Outside, there's a small pavilion resembling an antique building, perfect for sitting and basking in the sun. What's even more surprising is that from the sixth floor, you can directly see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and they've even created a photogenic backdrop. On the third day after leaving the hotel, it unexpectedly snowed in Lijiang. While admiring the snowy scenery that morning, I took a special photo that will forever be remembered.
When we left, the hostess graciously escorted us to the station. The shuttle service saved us a lot of hassle. I was filled with gratitude and wished this kind and friendly hostess continued success in business.
