こちらは評価が高いが、どうしてそんなに良いのかわからない。風呂は屋上の露点が他の建物から見えるというような書き込みもあるが、それはそんなに気にならない。しかし特別良かったとも思えない。夕食があまり満足できなかった。よくなかったのは金目煮つけ入りシュウマイであった。名前からしておいしい印象はなく、試しに一口食べたがそれしか入らなかった。他の料理も普通。揚げたての天ぷらというのが、唯一おいしいかなと思って頼んだが、私の味覚ではエビの中身が電子レンジでチンした熱さを感じた。自宅近くの天ぷら屋で食べる揚げたての天ぷらとは異なるものであった。これをほめている書き込みも見られるので、本当に揚げたてであったのなら、さほどおいしくないと思ったのは、素材か、揚げ油か、小麦粉か、ちょっとした味付けが私に合わなかったのが原因かもしれない。そんなことで湯河原に行くときの候補には入れがたい。

ツインの部屋は広く、大きなソファと、中型ソファとイスのセットがありました。鍵2本で助かりました。 お風呂は３か所あり、男女入れ替え制です。展望台大浴場と露天風呂はとても良かったです。 ラウンジでは、函館の有名コーヒー店のコーヒーがいつでも飲めたことは良かったです。 夕食は何だか自分で家でも作っているようなほぼ野菜のメニューでイマイチでした。やさしい献立との事ですが、高齢者用みたいで、同行者ともに不満足でした。ミニバイキングは漬物、ご飯と飲み物でした。 朝食も細くきざんだ野菜や漬物などでした。干物だけは美味しかったです。飲み物やごはんなどはバイキングでした。 すべて良いのに、食事が残念な宿でした。ソフトクリームとかスペシャルコーヒーよりも食事内容が大切と思いました。

野口グループということで行ってみました。口コミがよかったというのも理由の一つです。お風呂は１階の風呂は銭湯風ですが今一つといった感じですが、6階の大浴場は泉質も良くいい気分で入れると思います。男性が20時までと翌朝の8時以降でそれ以外は女性用で１階と入れ替え制です。露天風呂の斜め向かいに(少し離れていますが）背の高いマンションがあるのでその関係かなと勝手に想像しています。食事の量はお膳風にいろいろなものが置かれており、てんぷらや刺身は席についてから持ってきていただく、金目鯛の釜めしは食べる時間の25分くらい前に着火という感じできちんと対応されていると思いました。ボリューム的には若い方には少し物足りないかなと思いますが私どもには十分でした。飲み放題で頼んだのですが、テキパキと持ってきてくれていました。朝ごはんが８時からなのでもう少し早ければいいかなとは思いました。 清掃等も問題ないですし、1階で無料のコーヒーもほとんどの時間帯飲めますし、冷蔵庫には２Lの水も入っておりそのあたりも値段の割にはいいと思いました。

自室から隣地の廃墟(元ホテル?)や伸び放題の雑草が見える。料理は品数だけは多いが記憶に残るものはない。
ただ、温泉だけは良かった。日帰り温泉でもやっていたらまた来たいと思うが・・・。
