We went there for the Atami Fireworks Festival. Hotels in Atami are ridiculously expensive, up to 4k to 5k a night, so we chose Yugawara, one stop away from Atami, and found this small family hotel.
The hotel is super cozy with lots of cute touches. The room is in a very traditional Japanese style, just like Doraemon’s home! You need to make your own bed, it is a tatami bed, and their tatami beds are really comfortable! 😁
The only drawback is that you need to keep pressing the shower button for the water to come out. It is a relatively old-fashioned hot spring facility. Apart from this, everything else is very good, and the private bath is also great!
ps: Their food and accommodation are all vegetarian, so friends who cannot accept this should pay attention.
I went to Atami at night and saw the fireworks, it was beautiful. If you want to watch the Atami Fireworks Festival, you can consider this small hotel. The owner also gave me a small gift when I left the store, which was very thoughtful.
