If you want to have a nightlife, don't think about having a midnight snack. The nearest convenience store is about 5 minutes away.

The ryokan is spacious and nice. The private hot spring attached to it is really nice. The staff is really, really kind. The kaiseki served in the evening is also top-notch... But I went there in the winter... Everything is good, but one thing is that they use a heater that warms the air... So the air is incredibly dry... You'll get thirsty after sitting for just an hour... And the wooden floor is really cold... (This is something that Koreans who live on the Ondol floor can't get used to) But this is the structure of a Japanese house... You have to accept it... I went to a Japanese ryokan on purpose... If you ask me if I'll go again, I'd say no in the winter... You never know... I might go in the summer...
