Impression Hotel, Xizhou

The worst hotel I've stayed in in recent years. I arrived a little after 2:00 PM, well before my scheduled check-in time, but the hotel said they had no rooms available and were cleaning, citing high business and asking me to understand. It was hilarious. I don't know what kind of operational efficiency they have. In the end, I had to wait an unbearable half-hour before I could check in. Upon entering the room, I saw hair all over the floor and bed. Not even the sunflower seeds on the floor and chairs had been swept away. The bedside table was stained with stains, which was disgusting. The room's wifi wouldn't connect at first, and this problem recurred on our second day. The hotel elevator is used for both passengers and freight, and twice it was occupied by hotel staff and supplies, preventing us from getting downstairs. I don't understand why they're willing to use guests' time to work, yet still can't clean the rooms. The hotel's soundproofing is also a major issue. Rooms on the inner side can hear music from nearby entertainment venues every night, often until 1:00 AM. The only positive point is the hotel's good location.

The hotel is close to the high-speed rail station and easily accessible on foot if you don't have much luggage. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, making dining convenient. The room was simple and comfortable, with intelligent design and ease of use. The mattress was just the right firmness for a comfortable sleep. The hotel staff was warm and attentive, proactively and meticulously helping with any issues, which made me feel at ease and reassured. They even gave the children a special gift, which was a welcome relief. The late-night porridge provided was simple but heartwarming. The breakfast had everything you'd expect, including fruits and vegetables, staple foods, and snacks, and the food was delicious. This hotel is definitely on my list of top hotels for my next trip to Yuexi.
