Too rubbish! The above shows that you can park, but you don’t recognize that you can’t park until you arrive. The sanitation is too bad. There is a musty smell when you enter the door. The room is also small, the bathroom is smaller, the remote control and everything are broken, and the experience is the worst! Expensive

In the standard room, the distance between the bed and the window was very small, the curtains fell down and almost blocked the cracks. After moving the bed, the cracks were dirty. Other facilities are fine.
The hotel is located in Xinjie and the traffic is relatively convenient. There is a car directly to Duoyishu, and there is a direct bus to Kunming at the nearby passenger station. It will pass through old-Jianshui_Yuxi and other places.

When you arrive at the hotel, you will feel a high-end atmosphere. Frontdesk is very good, skilled in business, and polite in language. When you enter the room, you will find the hygiene is very meticulous, and the bedding is very comfortable. All the items have been carefully selected for a good match and overall very good. It really impressed us. The decoration is pretty good, everything is good, and it's worth the money and good even for longer stay. It can be seen that the management level is high.
If we come back to this area, we will definitely select Terraced Rose Winery Holiday Hotel

The level of the guest house in the 1960s and 1970s. There are newly renovated rooms. We didn't see it clearly when we set it. The result is really hard to say. Anyway, try not to decide. We sleep in our own sleeping bag at night.

The environment is good, clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood is quite quiet. However, the sound insulation of the door is a bit poor, and sounds can be heard from the corridor.
There is an independent balcony and there is no light pollution nearby at night. If the weather is good, you can probably take pictures of the stars.
Breakfast is one serving per person. If you don't have enough eggs and corn, you can add more. It's quite rich.
You can order food to be delivered to the room, and the taste is still good.

There was not enough hot water during peak water hours. Even when I took a shower in mid-May, I even turned it to the hottest setting and it was so cold that I shivered.
Doors and windows must be closed when entering or exiting, otherwise flies may fly in.
Food was delivered to the room. It took an hour from ordering to eating, which was too slow.

EEnnaVery clean room, conveniently located right in front of the terrace. Great photos. For foreign guests looking for coffee and the usual morning fare, there is a coffee shop within 4 minutes of walking. This was a very nice place to retreat to for a few days of crisp, mountain air, solitude and great hiking.....and beautiful photography, especially if you have a drone

ZzuriahI would say everything was great except the room.
Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided.
Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

When you are tired from playing outside, you can come back to the inn, take a rest in the cafe on the first floor, sit around the fireplace and chat, drink coffee and eat a simple meal, feeling relaxed and leisurely. The two girls make great coffee and light meals! We had breakfast at Haniweidao, which was free and the owner cooked it with great care. He added stir-fried vegetables and fried eggs to the rice noodles. The rooms in the inn are clean, and the beds and bedding are comfortable.

SSteven DowsonQuite tricky to find, down a single lane road, but car parking available next to hotel (20 yuan). Very friendly and welcoming owner, everything very clean and thoughtful design of rooms and communal areas. Rooftop terrace perfect for star-gazing and sunrise - we booked a room with an east view which was lovely in the evening when we arrived but quickly got very warm in the morning, this would be great in winter but maybe the cool rooms on the other side of the hotel are better in summer. Excellent breakfast of noodles, very comfortable room and bed, the hotel is on the edge of an authentic village and we spent a few hours wandering around the rice terraces in the morning. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserHighly recommend Jackie's guesthouse. It's a really beautiful location right by the rice paddies, nestled into his village. It was a big plus for us that he is fluent in English, so we could ask him lots of questions and he helped us alot. Thank you Jackie!
The area is a bit tricky to explore because they don't seem to do scooter rentals for foreigners. So you have to take these minivan taxi/bus things, which we experienced a lot of unpleasant haggling with. More of a taxi than a bus, at least for tourists. But it sure is beautiful and an interesting culture to get to know.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic 4 night stay at Rice Field Ideal Homestay. The room was very comfortable, with a great bed, and every time we looked out the window, we had to pinch ourselves because the view was absolutely stunning. The guesthouse is located just above the Blue Terrace, not far from Azheke Village (mushroom houses) and a few minutes drive from the Duoyishu Terrace. Xiao Gao, the owner, is a local. He took amazing care of us, upgraded us and made sure we had the best stay. When he realized we had no means of transportation, he drove us himself to various terraces and viewing points in his car.
Reaching Yuanyang can be a little tricky, so here is how we got there: we took a train from Kunming to Jianshui, and contacted Rice Field Ideal Homestay on WeChat to ask for a transfer by car. It cost 120 yuan/person, and the drive from Jianshui to the Blue Terrace took about 2.5 hours. Easy peasy.
We highly recommend staying there and hope to be back one day. Xiao Gao and all his family are amazing people.

GGuest UserThe inn is located close to the sunrise viewing platform, about 10 minutes' walk away, which is quite convenient and successfully avoids traffic congestion, especially on holidays. The conditions of the inn are average, but very clean. The innkeeper is very nice. We wanted to hike with our children, and he recommended routes for us and took us through the places where we are most likely to get lost. Although the whole hiking process was a little regrettable, the whole family was very happy and satisfied. Let me talk about the boss's cooking skills. The food is really good and the portion is big. We, three adults and two children, had three dishes and one soup and were all full. In short, the two children were full of praise.

TTravis and ElishaWhat a great location for being amongst the terraces! We splurged and got the terrace view room, and it was very nice with a great view, comfortable bed, warm blankets, and hot shower. The room has an unblocked view of the terraces. But if you don't get that room, the upstairs balcony has the very best view. But we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our bed with hot tea.
Lucian is really great! He explained to us different hiking options for seeing other views. His English is really good too so you can ask him any questions about the area. He has a sweet old dog and a cute young cat. He's also available to pick you up if you get lost or have trouble getting back after sunset.
There are 2 good restaurants a 10 minute uphill walk away, or Lucian can cook you meals, which are also great.

LLezaiyuzhiMaybe because it was the off-season, there was no one at the counter when we arrived in the afternoon, so we had to go back to the car and wait because of the rain. It wasn't until a little brother came back that he went upstairs and asked someone to check in. The room is average, but it is still clean, the hot water is not hot, fortunately it is summer now. The restaurant downstairs is closed, so it is inconvenient to eat. You have to drive to a nearby restaurant to eat. I don't know how the breakfast is, because the restaurant is not open, but an old lady should be the mother of the boss! They said they could cook it for me, but it didn't work for me. Generally speaking, I feel that it is not in business and I do not recommend staying here unless it reopens, but there is no elevator, and it is inconvenient to have a lot of luggage. The parking space is at the door, so you can park 3~4 cars!
