Beautiful scenery and nice quiet location. The staff was very nice both Mary & Garret at the front desk were fantastic during our stay. This was a great place to hangout and unwind, or take a short drive to Helen, GA and walk around, go tubing and eat at a nice German restaurant. Plenty of things to do. And if you want to spend of the day on the lake they have that as well. Not a long drive from the Nashville area only 4 hours. We came for my Wife’s birthday weekend and had a great time. We will be back to visit again.

I was looking forward to staying at this resort for a business trip, but it was a great disappointment. The grounds and lake are beautiful, but the facility is horrible. It looks like the main lodge was remodeled, but the attention to detail is poor. The hallway carpets are dirty and paint is chipping on the walls. I stayed in a suite that faced the lake and the room smelled like a dirty locker room. The floors in the room and bathroom were dirty and there is terrible mold in the shower. (It was so bad, I showered with my flip flops on.) The soap dish was broken off and the tub was dirty and chipping. Besides the smell and dirty floors, the worst part was the mosquitos and gnats in the room. I had to cover my legs and arms while in the room and had to find a way to cover my face at night to avoid the bites. My employer was paying for the room and other hotels in the area had no available rooms, so I had to stay. Very disappointing and nothing like the photos posted on the website.

Was here to visit clients in the area. Rooms are clean and inviting. Food service was good and waitress was friendly. An attractive area for both family and commercial purposes.

Dropping my child off at her first sleep away camp the next day, we booked this hotel to ease her anxiety and the stay was awful! We paid extra money for a lake view with balcony. The balcony door had a heavy film all over it with a tree right in front of the window so could not enjoy the view. The balcony was covered in spider webs and felt unsafe to use. I also killed a spider on the wall in our room. We did not check the beds until 11:00pm and the sheets were dirty with crust and hair in them. Luckily the other bed was clean. My complaint in the morning to front desk was apologetic but said the maids do not change the sheets if the bed does not look like it was slept in. I did not make a big deal because I didn’t want to upset my daughter before camp. Tried getting a hold of manager multiple times with no success so maybe this review will get their attention. Gave you the chance to handle personally but your guests need to know you are no where near the cost of stay! However the restaurant was excellent and recommended - food drinks and service! Just don’t stay at the resort!

I believe the problem is with Management of the resort. They just don't care. Here is why I say this. We stayed two nights and paid extra for a balcony facing the lake, where we could sit out during the evenings and in the mornings. The 2nd evening of our stay, the sliding door to the balcony would not open. I made sure it was not locked and that the security bar was not in place. I called the front desk and the young lady told me she was sorry and remembered that this happened before. No one could help us that evening. Because of this, we could not sit on balcony that evening or in the morning. Upon checking out, I informed the desk clerk of my situation and asked for a credit because we could not use what we paid for. Plus, it was not safe in case there was a fire. Of course I never received a call, text or email from the manager. I then wrote to the VP, (Kristin) and NO response! Then I wrote again and this time included the Ridges Front desk email, and again, NO response. I called and left a message at the front desk, and still NO response. This tell me that the management at The Ridges just don't care. I also told Kristin that the floor was dirty that we had to wash our feet before going to bed (see attached picture). Don't bother staying here, there are other places that care.

Celebrated our 44 th wedding anniversary and absolutely would come here again! Loved the views , the amenities, front desk and housekeeping were very kind and accommodating of our requests. Loved the Marina Station restaurant. Loved the grouper meal and view from our table so nice! Great memories!

The property has a gorgeous view of the lake. Property was clean. The pool is cleaned daily - but doesn't open until 10AM. We would definitely stay here again.
