Beautiful views, awesome fireworks, and southern hospitality! Such a relaxing stay… that being said, you don’t come here for the rooms. Ours was dark and musty.. balcony useless. You come here for the views, rocking on the balcony, golf, puzzles and games in the lobby. Also give Marina station. Brother’s at Willow ranch, and Mary’s Southern grill a try. Spa was ok.

TOO Many issues for the cost of the room charges No soap in the bathrooms in the lobby downstairs and first floor bugs in the room didn’t pick up trash in the room, refill towels in the room spider in the room spiderwebs in the windows. Ladies toilet on the golf cart had huge black greens so hadn’t been cleaned Outdoor spa water was not clean. Layers of bugs on pool. No lightbulb in the area by the tiki bar in the ceiling for evenings.. musty smell in room when Arrived, no help. Auto tip 23% TOO high. at restaurant and buffets first restaurant meal Tess got hamburger after 10 people done . Buffets Only serve drinks and clear plates Unable to play tennis. Courts were a mess. 2 waters Not provided in rooms every day. No TvS in pool area or card area by fish pictures Windows in walkway from lobby area to rooms full of cobwebs inside and out. Liked Scavenger hunt Water in lobby. Yum Food buffets except no fruit

We were here for a wedding weekend. The resort location is great for a wedding. The arrival process with the Bellman was simple and they were all extremely nice. The parking lot is a little way up a hill. They do have valet parking. The ladies at the front desk were very nice as well. We had booked a few rooms and had to make sure everything was correct with different arrivals to the resort. They handled it well. As many others had said: the resort is dated and dark. Rooms are larger but dark and definitely rustic. There were several things that needed maintenance in the room, but did not stop us from staying there. We ate dinner once in main dining room (porch) and food was good. We also had two buffet meals for breakfast, they were ok. Good variety but food was drying out. Had Saturday night prime rib buffet, not that great. Prime rib was tough and low in flavor, not worth the money. The other entrees - chicken and pork were good. Good options for dessert. The Grill was only serving cold items for lunches for two days because of grill fan exhaust problems. That was disappointing as we could not eat burgers or other grilled good for lunch. The property is spread out (and multiple levels) and walking is necessary. They do have golf carts that take guests over to the wedding venue. The sunsets and mountain views are great. We did visit some friends in one of the cottages, and they are dark and rustic as well. (multi-level too). Also we are aware of a few mix ups in reservations and rooms not being ready. Check your confirmations and make sure everything is correct. I think their computer system is as old as the building? We would stay again, after some maintenance.

Great place to stay! We enjoyed the amenities. The gift shop was nice. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I’ve stayed here several times. The cabin rooms are very nice too. We enjoyed the pool too. The staff and dining staff were top notch!

We had a family trip with 11 members in 4 different rooms at the lodge and every single room looked & smelled run-down. We arrived and were greeted by a valet, who then pointed us to the entrance but did t actually help us at all. My 75 year old mother was struggling to push the dolly & he just stared at her. Upon entering the resort, the lobby was hot & stuffy, and it went down hill from there. Every room’s bathroom was in disrepair. Rooms smelled musty the entire 5 days. The mini fridges were defrosted (one all over the slick floor) and warm upon arrival & they never got truly cold. One microwave was missing the turntable plate. We had to ask everyday for items to be re-stocked & trashed taken out. One room complained about a large spider found in the room, pointing out spider webs in the window, only 1 spider web was swept away but there multiple (4-5) left, so it’s obvious they didn’t make any effort. We were disappointed that there was no music playing in the pool area to liven things up. No tvs to be found anywhere except in rooms (which was unexpected but we could justify that it was intentional & ok). The pool water was dirty with a layer of bugs everyday. There is a sauna & steam room offered, but the guest was expected to turn them on 20 minutes prior to use. The morning we went to the tennis courts, they were so filthy that they couldn’t be played on. And although Brasstown Valley Resort advertised pickleball, you had to drive 10 minutes down the road and find the public ones (these were impeccable!). The best thing here was the beautiful golf course, the views & the fruit-infused water in the lobby. Food was decent. All told, spending $300 per room/night, we had higher expectations. Overall, Brasstown Valley Resort over-promised & under-delivered.

We went for our 40th wedding anniversary. Very nice resort. The Seafood buffet was GREAT! Large selection of food & desert. The grounds, veranda (with mountain view), & lobbies by the restaurant & bar were amazing! They have a sunset view on the big veranda and a firepit to sit by at night. They have beautiful pool tables in the bar & also downstairs an arcade we used. The pools & hot tubs were nice. Both pools are heated including the outdoor- they are connected so you can swim to outside-- only downside is the hot tub jets not working right. Wonderful spa treatments but VERY expensive if you choose them- but must book that ahead! We would stay again.

I have visited many times with my late husband and times with friends but I needed time alone to regroup and could not have chosen a better place. The hotel room was lovely with a balcony and view overlooking the pool area and mountains in the background. I ate at the restaurant and pub and had room service one morning. The resort has a lovely golf course and beautiful places to walk or hike. The lobby welcomed you eith comfortable seating abd views. The winter with burning logs in the magnificent beautiful stone fireplace is worth a visit alone.

Our checking was smooth and staff were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the balcony off of our room and walking around the beautiful grounds. Dinner Friday at the seafood buffet in the restaurant offered a variety of choices, including a chicken dish and carving station for anyone not interested in seafood. The dessert bar was amazing, ice cream too many wonderful choices. I hated leaving items behind! The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable. All associates were helpful and friendly. All made for a really nice weekend away!
