We stayed here to see the cherry blossoms at Mt. Yoshino. The cherry blossoms themselves bloomed much later than usual, so we weren't able to see them, but the accommodation itself was wonderful. It's very close to Yoshino-jingu Station, so if you're going to Mt. Yoshino, it's only one stop away, so it's very accessible. Yoshino-jingu Station is an unmanned station with only 2-3 restaurants, but Yoshino has quite a few Japanese restaurants during the day. I think the best way to do this is to take a taxi from the accommodation to Nakasenbon and then walk down, both in terms of time and energy. The building itself is an old house, but the inside has been completely renovated and is very comfortable. We were only three people this time, but I think it would be cheaper if there were more people. I'd like to try it again next year during cherry blossom season.
