York Regional Municipality Hotels with Airport pickup service

Breakfast has always been the same, taste can be, mainly you can cook yourself, free parking, close to the subway station, Wal-Mart, IKEA, easy to go out and buy things.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights recently on our holiday to Canada, travelling from the UK visiting family in Aurora and Newmarket. Absolutely perfect, location, comfort, spot on. Lovely room, comfy bed, great shower. Yeah it’s only a two star and could do with an update but it felt homely. Tim Hortons coffee machine in the reception area ( need coffee before breakfast). Lovely. If, ( when🤞)we return to Canada we will absolutely stay here again, perfect. Thank you.

The hotel location is so convenient, we drove about 10-15 minutes to the restaurant/ store we like and to visit our relatives. The guest service is great, the staffs are so helpful.

Before going to the hotel, we called to see if we could do an early check-in. They couldn't guarantee but said they would call if the room was available for check in. We killed some time before going to the hotel as they didn't call. We went to the hotel after the check-in time (3pm). The room wasn't ready, even though check in time had passed. They told us it would be ready ”soon” but ultimately it wasn't ready until almost 5pm, two hours late. This type of inconvenience is challenging, particularly when travelling with young kids who just want to get to the room. They told us that staffing was an issue because of a snow storm, which I could see being realistic in the morning, but by afternoon, most roads were clear. The room itself was fine, but realistically it was pretty small to be called a suite. The fridge doesn't even open the whole way before it hits the counter. My other major issue with this hotel was the amount of waste generated. The CEO of Hilton said (2021 Sustainability Report): ”There has never been a more important time to double down on our commitments and raise the bar on our environmental and social goals. In the coming year, as climate science and best practices continue to evolve, we will set more ambitious environmental targets that will help preserve the destinations where we live, work and travel, and pave the way to a net-zero future. ” Hilton has a priority of Preventing Waste and Contributing to a Circular Economy. Hilton's ambitions include a 50% reduction in waste by 2030, but there are some very easy quick wins that could be implemented at this hotel today (breakfast had disposable plates/bowls/cups/cutlery). In my observation, I did not see anyone take their breakfast to go. Simply swapping our their disposables with regular dishes and cutlery would be an easy way to reduce a LOT of waste. Going further, there's no reason that the bedrooms need to continue using the small shampoo/condition etc -- they should be transitioned to the larger, dispensing models.

I have a great stay at Park inn by Radisson.The room is big and clean. Bed are comfortable. Check in and Check out was fast and easy. The locaton is a but of walk from thr main highway but its fine for me.

Lets start with the positive things first. The entire hotel has been renovated, so the property both inside and outside are well maintained, clean and attractive to the eye. There's no foul smells, or old and musty smells. The room was complete with all the necessary storage options, a large TV, comfy beds and all the amenities needed in the bathroom (including shampoo and conditioner bottles on the wall...not those little tiny bottles that a woman with long hair can't even use). Front staff was friendly and efficient. The only issue I had here was it was 4 pm on a Friday when we were checking in and there was only 1 person doing the check in's. There was a long line and we had to wait quite some time before we could check in. I would recommend a second staff member for busy check in times to make things run a bit smoother. Now, the negatives. The first negative I had was the staff early in the morning. One of our group members became ill during our trip. We called at 5:30 am to see if the room we had was still available so we could extend our stay. The staff member was impatient on the phone and did not want to assist us. The first excuse they gave us was that we couldn't make a reservation on the phone and we had to do it in person... (ummmm....aren't most reservations either made online or on the phone????) and that we had to wait to 8 am when the next shift was in. When I mentioned that our original reservation was made via phone, he then changed his tune and said 'he didn't want to make the reservation for us as his shift was almost over”. We ended up not staying. Second complaint was the lack of night time security in the hallways. We travel a lot for kids sporting events (that's why we were here). Our kids sporting events start very early in the mornings (we're typically up anywhere between 5 am and 6 am). So when there's teenage kids in the hallways, running up and down, yelling, laughing, carrying on and making huge amounts of noise at 2 am in the morning, this is a concern. There was a security camera located in the hallway so unless it's there for show or not being watched by staff, there's no way this behaviour should be allowed to continue. ( I know that parents are responsible for their kids...but lets be honest and realize not all parents 'parent' their kids, otherwise this wouldn't have happened).

Safe Secure sanitized Pristine Facilities. Very Friendly Front Desk staff...Ivy was as amazing as ever wearing full protective face mask and gloves. So happy pool and fitness center were open. Took a open shared shower each time before swimming. So quickly squeezed bikini dry after shower and put it back on. Pizza Nova Delivery is placed in hallway so no touch service. 305 is a 2 room suite with Whirlpool separate to vanity area. Beautyrest Signature Matress gave the best ride of my life and provided a deep quiet sleep. Will be back late October and Early November for additional electrifying recharging. The building exterior looked like it needed an update, but you can tell the rooms have been upgraded and really, that’s what mattered for me and my family. Laminate / hardwood floors are a plus - no gross carpet. The staff were kind and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The kids enjoyed making their own waffles.
