Prebooked two queen suite, was given one queen suite. Was told you can use the couch in the room. NOT no blankets or sheets for the couch. No coffee in the room. Someones groceries in cupboard. Was told they were booked with only a handfull of cars in the lot. Asked to sign a quiet policy (big joke) was kept up until 3-4 am with loud music, partying all night. Offered me a 25% discount. I told them I was insulted. I was given no discount. Upcharge of $30 that they said would come off. Has not yet. It was a nightmare from start to finish. Do not stay here.

I have stayed in many Candlewood suites and have been very satisfied. We stayed st the one in York, Pa. for a wedding in the area. There were many things wrong with the room. The stove and toaster did not work. The bathroom door did not close. The towel rack in the bathroom fell off. The room had no frying pan. When I spoke with the manager about my concerns she was very nasty and not helpful at all. I would not stay here again!

We came down for a sports tournament this past weekend and cannot compliment the service of the front desk staff enough. Both days were exceptional, but we have to compliment Julie on her genuine care for us during our stay. The only critique we have—with the understanding that this is out of the control of staff—is that the rooms were quite humid. After showering, it became significantly worse to the point that even the AC on high didn’t mitigate it. I would suggest management look into dehumidifiers when needed. Other than that, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and sheets were fresh (I checked as our infant was traveling with us) as well. We look forward to returning.

Employees are great, they care about their guest. They greet you every time you passed by the front desk and they go above and beyond. Full kitchen is like a small apartment. You see every employee constantly cleaning. I will come back again .

Second time staying here for a sports tournament. First time heat didn’t work and there is no maintenance staff on duty. Second visit, disgusting stains on wall and couch. The toilet didn’t work, shower didn’t drain well…standing in two inches of water. No creamer for coffee, and no replenishment of towels second day. Looks great from outside so buyer beware…masking a lot of issues inside.

The one bigger front desk girl was doing coke and you could see it on her nose and teo houseman are doing herion you can clearly tell when they are falling asleep standing up! Then dont forget when i checked in the front desk agents are drinking on the job! Worst place or experience I ever experienced! I will be calling corporate and the state to try and get this place shut down! Absolutely horrible!

The hotel is very clean and nice and great staff and always helpful I just wanna say thank you to Joel and christy and Katrina and nicole is a good manger and she keeps her hotel in order. If anyone planning to come to York pa candlewood hotel were you want to stay with your family.

Room was not clean. Stained bedding, counters were not wiped down, and hair on bathroom floor. The pool was broken and on the second night of out stay the phones malfunctioned and began ringing once every 15 minutes/half hour beginning at about 3am. The only good thing I can say is that the beds are comfortable. Don’t stay here, there are so many other options in the area.

Had to stay one night recently and I met this amazing overnight supervisor Julie. She was very helpful when I needed anything throughout the night and she has a such kind tone when talked to. If there was any issue she would find a solution the best way she could. I would say she is the main reason why I would come back.
