Days Inn by Wyndham York

I would rate this hotel 0 out of 5 if I could. My husband and I were traveling and stopped here late evening after a long day of driving. We were just getting ready for bed, moved the refrigerator to access the outlet to plug in a fan, when roaches came running out from under the refrigerator. We went to the front desk to explain that we were leaving and wanted a refund. The desk clerk offered to give us another room, but we explained that after seeing roaches, we could not sleep there. He stated that we would be charged a $25 cleaning fee because we were in the room for about 2 hours. We stated that we just saw the roaches, but he stated we would have to speak with the manger in the daytime. My husband called the manager and he refused to refund the $25. It’s not about the money - this is just bad business. The room should have been exterminated and then cleaned anyway. We should not have to pay for that. This gives Days Inn and Wyndham a bad reputation.

This was top to bottom, the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The Continental Breakfast was an absolute joke. There was not enough toilet paper or soap in the bathroom, and the list goes on. Also, if you are looking for pet friendly, they are not. Oh they allow them, for a much larger charge than posted

Stayed here on a solo cross country trip. Convenient to the interstate. Looks like they were going to replace some of the refrigerators in the place as there were some stacked in the lobby. It's on a side road that is only a couple of hundred feet long, (buy yet, I found it amusing that there were passing lines painted down the middle!) I was disappointed with the room. I noted some of the problems and dropped that information off at the front desk just before turning in for the night. Here is my list: A/C unit dirty and needs cleaning. 1 light had no bulb. 1 light by the bed just didn't work. The desk chair does not height adjust. Bathroom sink drains slowly. Sink stopper not hooked up. The room was clean. Staff were lethargic, especially when I brought room deficiencies to their attention, but friendly.

The price was very enticing and the motel is not bad. Don't expect too much but the rooms are large and the beds are soft. The breakfast is very minimal. The noise level is quiet. Overall as long as you don't expect fancy it works great.

Hotel is average. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Checkin was a little unorganized but OK. Breakfast was another story..... There was like 2 mini muffins, 1 piece of bread, cold cereal, and waffle mix (yuck!). 1 guy in the the breakfast room eating, and he had 4 plates of food! Left nothing for everyone else. Coffee tastes like crap and looks like the machine hasn't been cleaned in months!

Lobby is hot and stuffy. The breakfast you get served oatmeal pies from Little Debbie box, and one type of juice. The room I don't think was cleaned that we were in. There was empty shampoo bottles in the tub. The bedding had dog hair in it, as like it was ever cleaned.

Nothing good to say the food what of it there was, was awful, the service was lacking, no soap for the shower, just to name a few terrible, awful, I’ll never stay again and I have been staying there for ten years for my business

Room smelled of cat urine. Shower head is for someone under 5'5". Continental breakfast - waffles only and they didn't even smell right. Beer bottles/cans all around the property. Old furniture in stairwell.

Our room and lobby were clean. Exterior appearance was shady. We are spoiled with another motels breakfast so we didn’t eat breakfast there. Motel that we normally stay at was booked and this one had only a few rooms left so we took it. The room we stayed in was clean, No c/o’s there, just the exterior looked trashy.
