I recently had the pleasure of staying at the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers looking to explore Yokohama or needing easy access to Tokyo. Being right next to Tsurumi Station makes it incredibly easy to get around without relying too much on taxis or long walks.
The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though not overly spacious, it made efficient use of space, ensuring a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless.
What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of both Japanese and Western options, which was a great way to start the day.
If I had to find any fault, it would be that the hotel is located in a quieter part of Yokohama, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, for me, it added to the charm and made for a peaceful retreat after busy days of sightseeing.
Overall, I highly recommend the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. It offers excellent value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the Yokohama area.
Because I found that the discount for separate bookings was greater, I split the booking into two.
Let me mention the room size again. The gap between the bed and the desk where the TV is placed is too small, so you have to pile all the chairs, slippers, and suitcases in the only aisle. The TV can only watch a few terrestrial channels, and there is no built-in YouTube.
When checking in, the black guest next to me was trying to ask the front desk for help. The conclusion is that the English response ability of the front desk needs to be improved (whether it is to keep someone with this ability on the scene 24 hours a day or to improve the operation ability of translation software), not to mention Chinese.
The hotel's location in terms of transportation is not excellent, but the advantage is that it reduces railway noise, and there are abundant convenience stores and hotels opposite the hotel and on the way to the station.
The yellower photo is a white balance problem of the camera when the light is just turned on.
The hotel atmosphere is very good. Compact, clean, convenient room, suitable for staying on the return trip to Haneda. Located near the train station, only 3-4 minutes walk. Breakfast is convenient, good, delicious, full.
A rather seedy run down motel. Bare basics, equipment very out of date. Unless seriously discounted or all others in the area booked out, just choose an alternate.

Hotel clean and nice and located easily outside Kannai station. McDonald's and a few Japanese restaurants nearby. And a convinient store just 10 seconds away. Room is a typical Japanese business hotel small anf functional. Got a few shampoo options at the lobby too. Recommended.

The entrance and each floor are controlled. It is very safe to live on separate floors for men and women. There is a cafe on the first floor. Check-in is at the small counter on the left after entering the door. It is close to Chinatown and Yokohama Bridge Street, and there are many conveniences nearby. shop

The location is great being very close to Kannai station, the room was clean if small, the price was reasonable and the Wi-Fi was OK. I had two issues during my stay:
1. During my check in, the staff kept asking me if I wanted to leave my luggage. I had no idea where this was coming from and I said I’ll take my luggage to my room. They asked me about two more times if they could keep my luggage. After this, I said no I had no luggage even though I literally had it next to me. Then they said “Ah OK, we apologize for our misunderstanding” and then gave us our key. What was this all about?
2. They don’t allow you leave your luggage after you check out. In all my life, this was the only place that had this policy.
The location and service are very good, close to the tram station. Very close to China Street. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is OK. The room size is spacious in Japan.

This is such a good hotel, I can't find any faults, the price, location, room facilities, and cleanliness are all great. There is also free hot spring bathing. The key is that I also bought my pocket3 near this hotel. Next time I go to Yokohama, I will definitely stay here
