Hotels in Malioboro, Yogyakarta

The hotel location is about 10 mins walk to malioboro. About 10 mins drive to stasiun tugu. The hotel is nice and cosy and service was good. The breakfast food was good too! I love their Indonesian cuisine ..one of the best I've tasted! However the room can be improved further. The room is not the cleanest. The toilet was a bit sticky. The rack that kept the towels broke and fell on me when I was reaching for the towel. Despite all this, I would still consider coming back to stay.

Stylish hotel, very nice rooms. Pool is great and the seating areas outside. One downside is gym is very small. But the biggest issue is the rooms are not very sound proof, constantly being woken up and disturbed by movement upstairs. Hearing people shower and toilet flush next door.

Had some issues regarding the change of stay date but resolved promptly by the hotel. Hotel is near to the main shopping area of malioboro street and the breakfast choice is good with plenty of local delights! Face towels are not provided and the guest could use more pillows as we only got 2 pillows for 2 people.

Hotel was clean. Minibar was free, hotel location close to shop and tugu Yogyakarta station. Also when departure to airport train from tuğu Yogyakarta station.

This is my 1st time stay at El hotel recommend by my best friend,since she also stay there with family. The hotel is atill new ,location and design are nice and strategist,the most i like is serounding by food ,shop and walking distance to famoust Malioboro street. My memerorable moment are at the lounge cafe ,when i do surprised bday celebration for my father,the staff's are very fantastic and helpful with my last minute request they can deliver good and happy moment. The breakfast spread also good specially when you dining on weekend the restaurant have javanese music (Gamelan) so make the atmosfer more local jogyakarta. I will stay again on my future to visit Jogyakarta. Welldone El Hotel please keep the good work and work out something with ur AC on the room ya specially towards balcony,the room must all cold 😉😊. It’s located between Malioboro plaza and mall. Good for shopping and export local as well as international brands, eg MacDonald, KFC, Starbucks. We stayed on level 5 and king suite and it was very spacious and comes with a sofa bed and a kitchen sink. The local front desk was helpful and got us a driver for the day.their breakfast is really good, we paid extras for both days. There are changes to the local section daily and the overall variety is well planned. There is also a small pool on the rooftop as well as bar and massage. We enjoyed our stay

The staffs in this hotel were very lovely and efficient. The only downside is the hairdryer, it’s provided only upon request and it’s not efficient in drying hair.. let’s just say it took almost 15mins to actually feel like it had warm air coming out.. and it’s at 1300w 😂 I would advice people with thick and long hair like myself to bring your own hairdryer. The shampoo and body wash were not topped up well upon check in, I had to request as there was a shortage in some. Besides these minor issues, bed was comfy and the room was clean :)

The staff is very friendly. The breakfast choices are varied and the taste is quite good. The bed is soft. The room is quite clean. It's just that the water in the sink takes a long time to drain.
