Loved hotel Vos! A hotel where each room feels like your own little haven. They have a hot tub and an amazing buffet in the morning. Staff are also really nice! Also an amazing place to see the northern lights as it’s so dark!

Theres a hottub and restaurant at the hotel.
Parking is spacious and free. However it is located 20 minutes from the city Hella.
No AC in rooms, windows can be opened to a statr where a small gap is opened for air circulation.
Showers are clean and spacious

Hotel Vos is about 13 minutes away from Route 1 in a small village. We loved how it seemed isolated and was so quiet! The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had the wonderful heated floors we loved in Iceland. The TV has Netflix and we enjoyed using the hot tub as well. Breakfast buffet was great with a good selection. We recommend this place!

Pulling into what initially looks like a farm, we were pleasantly surprised to find a truly hidden gem. The exterior may be unassuming, but the rooms are clean, sleek, and thoughtfully designed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, offering a great night’s sleep, and the shower was gloriously warm — just what you need after a long day. Though we didn’t use the hot tub ourselves, we saw other guests enjoying it and it added to the cozy, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. This place is a perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort — a true hidden gem that we’re glad we found.

The hosts Aaron and Mary were very nice. Our room was wonderful. The setting was peaceful. We had the three course meal and loved it. My wife said the lamb at Hotel Vos was the best lamb she had had since being in Iceland. The sweet potato soup and mushroom soup were yummy. And, the deserts were amazing. We had to leave before breakfast opened to catch a ferry to the Westman Island so they pack us something to take on the road. Their thoughtfulness was appreciated. We would definitely return.

Had a single night stop over here and the hotel was conveniently located for the trip. I didn't dine but other guests told me the menu was limited. The walls are quite thin too so noise from other guests is easily heard from room to room. Generally fine for a one night stop and the breakfast was good.
