When visiting a beautiful tourist city like Yichang, naturally, you'd want a hotel with a scenic view! That's why I opted for the Holiday Inn Express Yichang Riverside, situated right by the Yangtze River. Its location is superb, conveniently close to both the train station and the city center. The views from the window are simply breathtaking, with the magnificent Yangtze River stretching out before you as soon as you step outside. The room itself was immaculately clean and wonderfully fresh. I'd highly recommend it to any fellow travelers visiting the city.

Facilities: Very complete and new Cleanliness: Clean Environment: I was extremely dissatisfied because the room I was initially assigned was the first one, and the smell was incredibly strong. My heart raced as soon as I entered. I could tell the ventilation was inadequate, and there were definitely harmful substances that hadn't completely dissipated. They asked me to change rooms, but I was still uneasy and had a very uncomfortable stay. Service: They initially promised pick-up and drop-off via WeChat, and said they could help call a Didi (ride-hailing service) if the driver wasn't available. However, when I called, they said it wasn't during their service hours, even though I had asked beforehand and they said it was possible, and I still have the chat history. A different receptionist just disregarded everything. Sigh.

The hotel is relatively new and clean. I got upgraded to a Junior Suite as typical Guestrooms were sold out when I check in and the bed, showers are all comfortable. As it's a suite, would prefer to have tissue by the vanity counter & also another trash bin next to it as there is only one trash bin in the bathroom and it's located inside the toilet room instead.

The hotel facilities are very good and clean. Breakfast is ordered and delivered to the room. The breakfast options are very small. The hotel service is very good. I arrived at the hotel at 6 o'clock in the morning and the hotel agreed to check in at 12 o'clock.

Value for money, design of my liking, exceptional service, excellent location are a few of the reasons why I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a vacation in Yichang. I would like to mention the exceptional service given by Ms. Xiaolin, Ms. NiuNiu and Ms. MiaoMiao. They went the extra mile to make our stay a memorable one. Room was a good size, cleaned everyday with complementary snacks and drinks replaced daily. Breakfast was really good too, we looked forward to it everyday for the 5 nights we stayed here. There is a laundry area you can use anytime you wish, a gym and a nearby park you can enjoy overlooking Yangtze river. It was easy to go around too, we booked Didi taxi even late at night and encountered no problems. We hope to stay here again next time we visit Yichang!

Very good hotel. Xiao Li at the front desk also recommended many places to eat and have fun. The room is big enough. Except for the bad network, everything else is good. It is very quiet and the location is also good. There are many delicious foods around. There is underground parking, which is quiet and safe.

Super clean cheap hotel a 10 minute walk from the train station. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and it was so nice to not have to leave the hotel to find something late at night when we got in. We even got things delivered to our room really quickly. Highly recommend!
